Hm... the PS3 really seems to struggle with UE3. But as long as it'll run smoothly the PS3 fans can look forward one of the best games ever^^

Mind you, BioShock runs on a modified UE 2.5 engine.

Nope, it moved to UE3 towards the end of development I believe.

EDIT - Yeah there is a Case Study on the Unreal Tech site.

looks like they stripped a good portion of it to me, wtf and jaggies around girl in the first and bd in the last one.. lord they really need to take more time on this as its not looking good... i mean on the 360 it was a showcase of how good and atmospheric a game can be... on the ps3 their rushing for some reason.

Bioshock runs on UE2.5 with the UE3 renderer. These screens look about the same as 360 version and PC. Smoke is better on 360. UE3-games all suffer from jaggies cause the engine can only do software antialiasing.

See anything familiar? Starts with a j.

Here's another one so you know it's not just a one-in-a-million.

Did he ever say anything about it not being jaggy on the 360? No.
This game will suck and be a 1-day play-then-collect-dust game just as much as it was on the 360 :P

Fanboys always jump to fast conclusions. The fact is that these screens look horrid. But let's see how it turns out in the end. Xbox screens weren't beautifull, too, but the game was a looker when running.

i thought the graphics were supposed to be enhanced for the ps3 version? If the 3rd screen shot is anything to go by then they've been downgraded. The textures, lighting, and colour all seem to look inferior to the 360 version.. unless thats just a very bad quality picture.
