Epic and Microsoft drop the bomb and release the first gameplay video of Gears of War 2. Two minutes of extreme violence and fire, for what appears to be an explosive hyperbole of the first title. Visually, it looks stunning.
this whole debate is so embarrassing. Imagine anyone reasonable would read all the crap that has been written here . OMFG .
Games are everyones personal taste, i dont have to like what most people or the press tells me to be a great game.
I am 42 years old and personally began drooling watching the ingamefootage.
I loved the first one and cant wait to play part 2 ...and i give a f... if it looks better or worse than whatthef.... soever.
This is the third chapter of just the first act and already we're seeing a Brumak (who we couldn't even face in the first one) and reavers (who didn't appear till the last act on the first one).
God knows what's in store for us come the later stages of the second one! All I know is the more I see the video, the more I can't wait for more media and ultimately the release.

We certainly don't need another Farooq or that other asswipe writing goddamn essays on why KZ2 is better than gears. If you don't like gears then say so instead of bitching about this and that. Or even better; DEFEND KZ2 in the appropriate thread instead of lashing out at another game.

I've read the GI article. Sounds good to me. Best shot was the side by side compairson of Gridlock in both games. The jump of gfx quality is very noticeable, especially the amount of detail has rised by alot and ofcourse the light model is superb.

I never said I didn't like the game, so stfu and cool your guns. I was pointing out
the fact that this game is JUST bringing more baddies on screen and gets praised like it's 2006 all over again.
Wanna know what a true, praise-worthy sequel sounds like? Two story modes, 8-player co-op and 60 player competitive online mp. Sound familiar?
But we all know how PS3 games are treated around here, skepticism, criticism and bashing. Sorry but that's just my grief, don't like it? Cry me a river.
