I haven't exactly kept up with all the news on this game, but what exactly does it do that isn't being done in other racers?
The only difference in most games nowadays is that some game use graphic to better the story telling like Bioshock and COD4.

It's just a waste of an engine and I hope this game does terrible so Codemasters starts thinking about gameplay for once.
The physics in the game break the game, and thus I declare this game crap. It also shows how irrelevant this interviews with "experts" are. He makes it sound like this game has an ounce of realism.

The graphics are amazing though.
otherwise i still keep an eye on it ;)
I have to agree, the physics in this game are really poor, even worse than the physics in GT5.

Currently Loving DIRT, it's just plain fun!
Won't teach you to drive for Sh#T but that's expected from an ARCADE racer
I'm sorry... but why are people saying the physics is bad... since they've not played the game yet... >.>
Btw. the engine is not the same as the one in Dirt. It's an evolved version of it. And for what it's worth, what can be gathered from those videos, the physics seem fitting for an arcade style racer so far. The real test, of course, comes when you can play it yourself. Which I believe no-one here has done. So far, it looks promising given the genre.
