Pretty things from the Micromania Games Show again with this full level of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, performed by Sir Sony France, I name the quite skilled Gregory Delfosse. It looks and plays like butter.
Also, let me add that Sony is doing a HORRIBLE job of marketing this game, just like they did with Heavenly Sword. Most people have no idea what either one is.

Looks like its guna get boring fast, It plays way too much like an FPS, I was expecting something more along the lines of Tomb Raiders.
Uh, how can it play like an FPS when it's in third-person? :|
And I seem to recall doing quite a bit of shooting in the more recent Tomb Raiders. NEwho, I'm sure there'll be more puzzle-solving and environment traversal than is being shown in this brief video.

Yes and thats my point its a third person game which plays like a first person shooter.
It just seems boring to me, I was expecting it to be a whole lot more platformy than a shooter.
And regarding TR, its a totally different style of shooting, TR is more arcade like in its shooting.
This plays more like Gears. (expect not over the shoulder)
Jolli Im sure there's gonna be tons of platforming in this game, i mean it takes place in a jungle for god's sake. There's also gonna be a driving section, im looking forward to seeing that.

Gears doesn't play like a first person shooter. And if there is platforming at all it doesn't play much like Gears anyway -- since you can't jump in Gears of War :P

i remember the devs of this game saying their emphizes is on shooting with puzzle solving second....... and this is between arcadey and gears in terms of shooting with hand to hand combat
Jolli, have you ever made a positive comment about a ps3 game. Your comments in this, WKS, and GT 5. All promising games, and you only have negative things to say...fair enough for opinions, but try to be a bit more balanced

You know why, because right now the PS3 is dissapointed me ever which way i look.
The only 2 games i even remotely want are MGS4 and FF13, both of which are a way off.
There are other games like Little big planet and Rachet and clank but neither of these are going to make me buy the system.
My comment about GT was that the tracks look as if they are missing something, I still think its a good game, probably one of my fav racers.

Perhaps you don't think gears plays like an FPS but i do, besides the duck and cover thing of course ... *coughs*
And yea i see your point about jumping but thats a small technicality. :P
Personally i think Naughty Dog would have been better off making a Jak and Daxter title than this, new IP's are always a risk and i don't think the PS3 has a big enough user base to take bets like that. (guess we will see)
If you do, then you could just waited your purchase for 2008 for MGS4 to come out and then FF.
For me, it doesn't dissapoint.
Sure I got only NG Sigma and Heavenly Sword, but I want Uncharted and Haze very badly as well. But my MAIN priority to games for PS3 is Killzone 2 and MGS4.

He doesn't. That's what's puzzling... how can something "disappoint" you, when you haven't even bought it yet? Poor word choice, maybe...
I mean, I'm not interested in the 360, but I wouldn't say it disappoints me... and I certainly don't seek out posts about its games just to sh*t on them. I say meh and move along...

Hah, you have the exact same PS3 collection as me, and I'm also very happy with the system, even more so than my 360, which I have three times as many games for. The problem is I can't play said games because the thing is always broke. Talk about disappointments!
I'm also looking forward to Folklore, and I'll be getting all multi games (Assassin's Creed, DMC4, etc) on the PS3 since I don't have to worry about the red ring.
No Sath i don't own a PS3, like i say when FF13 comes out i will for sure, I may get one for christmas i duno.
What i meant by disappointed is that so far the PS3 doesn't seem to have much going for it, not like the PS2 did.
I understand it takes time to get a good library of games going, but the last few games seem to be pretty shallow.
I'm not shitting on the PS3 either, if this game was coming to the 360 my views would be the same, anyone who knows me around here knows i don't like shooters, and from this demo it looks like thats about all their is to this game, so yeah im disappointed.
At the end of the day if you don't like my opinions put me on ignore, but its hardly worth getting your knickers in a twist over.

If you dont like Shooters Jolli, why do you comment on them :(
If people don't like a certain thing and they want to comment on it, it is gonna be like 99% bad with maybe 1% good for whatever reason.
Bad karma if you ask me.
I know Jolli that you are in love with JRPG, you should stick to those genre, cause that genre aint mine, so I stay away from them and don't talk about them, because it doesn't interest me.
This goes to all people who do this, I know I learned this from all my Halo 3 threads. If I got something good to sya about it I say it, if not, I wont, it spread out bad karma for me to those who are looking forward to it you know ;)
Synce, yeah Folklore is cool and all, but I am in the money situation were I have to think of my money and worth purchases first rather shelling out on all games I think looks cool and all.
NG Sigma was a must considering I didnt own NG Black anymore when I sold my xbox, so I had to have a NG game until NG2.
HS is just good...thats all, I liked it.
But Uncharted should be very cool, and Haze,
And yeah when it comes to multiplatform I have to consider 3 things.
1. Controller (which fits better in that certain genre)
2. Online (PS3 free = saving money. 360 not free = wasting money)
3. Graphics (has come to situation it clearly shows which one is the worst, but some games look exactly like each other ;)
PS. Hopefully I didnt offend you Jolli, if I did, I am sorry ;)

Can't wait to buy it, and try the demo as soon as it comes out :D
Love the motion blur and depth of field once moving the camera...etc.
very well executed artistic design combined with awesome animation
puts it on another level
this game is a must buy for me.

Damn do people even read my posts... ? :S
I then got attacked by pickfork weilding Sony villages for having an opinion.
And yes Sath i do like JRPG's but many times I have seen you complained about Lost Odyssey being turn based etc, so lets not go down that road.
You're allowed your opinion and im allowed mine.
