Looks very standard to me, and quite boring to, they defectively need to improve the fighting system a few hundred times before I tutch this thought.

Nah i think both Infinite Undicovery and Star Ocean 4 will look better, this does look pretty nice though.

I would have to agree that the gameplay looks extremly repetitive and boring at this stage.

^^its a demo and dont expect rpg-titles to be varied at the start of the game, it takes time;)...Anyways as long as I get 2 play it I dont care.

Maybe, but to be honest it looks very similar to rogue galaxy, just with a new lick of paint.

Level 5 are crap when it comes to decent gameplay, i'm sad to say.

Graphically it is stunning though.

i think it looks promising, but to be fair the combat seems very not in place yet and the animations are horrid. But the graphical style looks great and the engine seems to be running fine as well. Maybe they can iron those things out.... one can only hope.

Somebody get that dev team some decent animators.

The second part in special was wonderful. And I love the main character.

Anyway, the combat looks way to slow. "HIT" wait......."HIT" wait...... repeat
Even when the main guy became the white knight the bad guy just seemed to be standing still the entire time. The AI looked bad too. If the AI has the oppurtunity to work as a team then it should. Also, why don't the allies look like their doing anything? They just seem to be standing around waiting for the main character to defeat their bad guy.

A lot of gameplay work needs to be done on this.

looks more interesting than jrpgs on 360. finally a good investment by sony

Looks great graphically, but the combat looks so similar to Rogue Galaxy...

I was anticipating this game a bit, but the combat seems like a definite downgrade in comparison to the demo video. The main character grabbed the enemy while the other character pummeled them, and the animation did look a lot better. The cg trailer they released was pretty coo, but my interest for this game has definitely dropped. If the story is good, I'll still consider it. However like some have said, it does give off a rogue galaxy vibe with a different world.

I don't think this looks nearly as good as Mass Effect. Best looking Jrpg? maybe...until FFXIII comes out at least.

it's clear they need to work on the gameplay mechanics

and I hope they improve it because the environment was lush and colorful

I have to say the dungeons are the weakest link in Level 5 RPG's. They really know how to make giant towns populated with interesting NPC's.

But best looking RPG? No way!! This looks like a nice PS2 game in HD but Mass Effect and Lost Odessy cream it. Hey and lets not mention FFXIII anymore! That game is vapor ware

Yes but you have to accept that other people will not always agree with you, it's part of life.

Graphically i think it looks amazing, but the gameplay is very lacking, obviously this could be because its early in development, but im not guna count on that.

At this stage it should be looking a whole lot more exciting.
