As for Ubisoft not releasing this game in japan, that is true, but whats to stop Namco Bandai publishing it there? Ubisoft would still get a cut, NB has the voice actors on contract for the games already, they could publish the game in japan, and I doubt Ubisoft would mind saying they have no other choice.
Finally some common sense in a sea of . . . not so common sense. These kinds of things happen often enough in this business. Devs and publishers all the time, get other publishers in foreign markets to publish a potentially popular game for them. If this game does well here in the West, I do not think that we have heard the end of Ubisoft's Naruto, getting a proper release in Japan and the other Asian markets.
