I'm pretty surprised that they're releasing an expansion for this game. The game really doesn't warrant it: it's not very good and didn't sell very well. I bought it because it was only $12.99 on Amazon and all the Achievements were in the offline story mode. I also played the online beta and was very dissapointed, it hasn't evolved at all since the Dreamcast. It might've been fun then but now it's pretty much garbage. I can't imagine anyone paying the monthly fee to play this.

They should have done a Phantasy Star MMO now that could have been cool. Speaking of MMOs I hope Square'll announce their new MMO in 2 weeks at their party.

Speak for yourself buddy. I enjoyed the game and I welcome this expansion. I'm glad they are bringing back the mags and the old PSO clothes.

yeah can't wait! I enjoy the game too, still play it - way too much actually. Mags are back but very different, the clothes are coming, the levels old and new, return of the boomas and grass assasins.. new weapons: photon whips and slicers! new classes! new A-ranks and B-ranks! The casino looks like its the addiction (from people who played the japanese beta)... can't wait!!!

omg. This game is terrible. Like its already been said it was real cute on the dreamcast even Blue Burst was cool for pc. I still actually have my account still on psu/pc and i can't get myself to level past 12. Its just not a good game by any means anymore. They have to step it up. Sega was given this challenge and failed miserably. I don't know why i haven't cancelled this game yet. But, yeah an expansion for this is unwarranted. Seeing as nobody even plays the game anyways(universe02 ftw).
