Evolution and Sony just sent us these three gameplay clips from the games' Gamescom demo, in very high quality of course! Many thanks to them, and enjoy!
why are you guys just talking about the graphics and saying : looks pretty , looks damn good , awesome and ... and don't talk about gameplay ?!!! yes you all are right about graphics , it's a good looking game but the gameplay is more important than graphics . it's a racing game with no physic !!! they've done good with visual effects and texture but everything is not about graphics . let's talk about gameplay , I think the gameplay is very poor for a racing game , handling is not good , I can't feel any reality in the gameplay , I feel I'm controlling a big fat stone instead of a super sport car !!!!

How can we talk about gameplay without, you know...PLAYING it? Unless you actually have? If not comments like "i can't FEEL any reality in gameplay" and "i FEEL i'm controlling a big fat stone" make you look dumb as hell...but then maybe you have played it...for your sake i hope thats the case lol.
Looks pretty meh tbh...just like it always has. I'm looking forward to playing it on plus as it'll be nice to have a racing game on my ps4, but unless it really surprises it's doubtful i'll be paying for it.
The game will run at 30fps (1080p). Confirmed several months ago from the devs.
Anyways, talking about the gameplay, nothing is wrong with an arcade racer I guess. From a gameplay perspective it comes closer to a PGR, just with an even more arcade "feeling".

lol your a fool, you have not played it so you have no bloody idea how the gameplay is, also most driving games are the same, there is only so much you can do with driving cars round tracks lol
The visuals look simply amazing, but the physics looks jarringly unrealistic. I can't quite put my finger on what the issue is, but it's weird to see these photo realistic vehicles being operated in such an impossible manner...
Visuals aside, this game looks pretty bad for a racer. Even as an arcade racer it looks predictably boring. I think reviews will be around 5's and 6's for this game.
I wouldn't say the Handling model in Project cars is fantastic either. It's ok. Too bouncy. Too many people with too many hands in too many pies.
DC I only played earlier in the year. Handling wasn't bad. It felt like a mix or arcade and sim. But from what i've heard it's been improved and the framerate has as well. Runs @ 40-45fps. But locked at 30.
Also played Horizon 2, Semi type open world with Weird handling. Floaty and popin in places. Car models were much lower quality.
tbh, the visual in all three clips do not look promising.
the low quality,or the offscreen plus a little imagination make the game "look better"
however when the true FHD version comes, not that impressive.
can't tell why, but the lighting just feels weird

Really? How can there even be a fast pacing game with so short FPS limitations. This is probably due console limitations have, never expected that new consoles would come to this. It seems like a good game gone bad. What use is a great game if you can't run it on a great hardware and there will be no PC version for this one.

Graphically nothing special to me.
Wow. Easily impressed. You must have been a fun child.

Why does everyone bitch about 30 fps. Racing games have been around much longer than 60 fps and we've done fine without it. And stop blaming your PC gaming problems on consoles.

Get what you're saying about judging by graphics alone, but KORNdog is right. We can't judge gameplay from videos alone. And it's not a sim so I'm not too worried about good handling or reality. Never been much of a sim guy tbh. No driving game has ever really felt believable to me even if it is true to life. If I wanted a real feeling, I'd go pay to rent a real exotic.

I would rather have taken a bit less flashy visuals for a smoother framerate.
but yea, I am not so sure I like the look of the handling.
