For our 19,000th news article, we are welcoming another old glory from the past: Full Throttle Remastered. If you're old enough to have played the game or to have read the reviews back in 1995, chances are you don't need to read our verdict to know whether or not you want to buy this new edition. For the others though, check out what we think and the videos. Just don't watch the 40 minutes of footage we have put up if you intend to okay the game yourself.
Despite its age, Full Throttle remains one of the best point and click games ever released. It's only flaw is it's short length, which was pointed out in the reviews back then, but those who know the game by heart - and can complete it in a couple of hours - will be happy to be able to play it again, with added commentary this time. Tim Shafer (project leader), Larry Ahern (lead animator), Casey Ackley (production manager), Stephen Shaw (lead programer), Peter McConnell (compositeur) and Clint Bajakian (lead sound designer) have indeed reunited to give us anecdotes about the game's development. For a discount launch price of $11.99 on Steam ($14.99 being the full price), it would be a shame not to discover Full Throttle if you have never played it.

We're sort of being spoon fed bit sized "experiences" that either work or don't. I suppose that's part of the freshness of it, though. I just wish some big devs would get more involved. (2 Hours ago)
