Some of you may have thought we were part of a big conspiracy aiming at increasing the sales of the PS4 Pro, but the reason why we could not show more more base PS4 footage of games was basically much simpler, and much less interesting for us - wink at our dearly beloved ex-but-maybe soon-to-be-again patron, wink, wink. In fact, we just couldn't handle the PS4 coverage as well as we wanted because the flow of releases we had to cover at the end of 2016, and the different things going on in our lives in early 2017. If you thought that For Honor didn't look and run great on the good old PS4, you're in for a big surprise. Check out our footage inside, or wait until our PC videos are ready if that's what you've been waiting for since Tuesday - oh another wink, enough to make you feel really special!
@MrWhite: yea, i think they did a really good job with that scene. At first i tried to remember the shots of her from the original to figure out if they re-used footage before the angles changed more. (2 Hours ago)
@Melmoth: Yeah, that's a good point. It's still noticeable, but it's literally so close that any kind of anomaly will be spotted and give that uncanny valley. The rendering though is flawless. (2 Hours ago)
as for Tarkin, i think they should have gone with the stand-in actor with some make-up/prosthetics. just looking at him in the making-of material he looks close enough. (2 Hours ago)
@MrWhite: she was kinda stiff/robotic in the original BR too. Like a doll, which they obviously aimed for, which helps sell the 2049 version. (2 Hours ago)
The other scenes that had all CG models of the actors and actress were so well done, I didn't realise it was entirely all rendered. Joi for example is almost completely CG overlaid with the actress. (2 Hours ago)
