Well done Guerrilla Games and you managed to show your second PS4 game before some studios have even revealed their first like Santa Monica, Sony Bend or Quantic Dream. Brilliant :)

Very interesting. So human civilization and technology is long gone but sustainable robotics are left behind. Nice looking game. Definitely not typical GG stuff.

I'm thinking quantic dream and bend will be the big ones for their paris event.

This looks amazing though. In terms of visuals, scale, premise....and it looks really fun too...just maybe shut her up a little. I do like talking protagonists. Gives them life. But this was more annoying then charming. Learn from ND. They know how to do it.

I didnt like how much that Horizon chick constantly was talking to herself. Did GG take notes from Tomb Raider/Uncharted guide book or some shit. Fantastic art and music though

I really just can't believe how good this looks. Guerrilla really just needed a break from Killzone. Best new IP of E3, and my game of the show. Crazy reactions to this from all over. This is good and GG should feel really proud of themselves. Protagonist reminds me of Ygritte from Game of Thrones.

Hopefully they're done with Killzone. If it continues, leave it to Cambridge.

They may tone it down since I've noticed that GG really likes feedback, but I actually didn't mind it. She has a personality after all, since she is the protag, and they aren't doing the whole silent thing from the looks of it.

I'm so glad they finally moved from Killzone. It was about damn time. This looks more interesting than all of their games put together so far. I mean a red head chick killing a MECHANICAL DINOS with a bow! Who would say no to this? :D

strong personality doesnt equal talk your ass off to YOURSELF during gameplay. It just means she is a dumbass mental protaganist who talks to herself to update on wtf she is doing and i hate that.

It's better than silence. But as i said it is overdone here. They need to use uncharted as their inspiration, not tomb raider.

I guess I just don't see what the big deal is. Seems like a really unimportant thing to focus on when the rest of what they showed was so damn cool looking.

Easily the title I'm most intrigued by from all of the conferences so far. The only hangup for me is its being developed by Guerilla Games.. and Killzone Shadow Fall sucked SO bad.

Subtle like "damn, enemies again" or something like that is fine, but subtle and little of it. Not the overused self-talking mental patient they got going on here.

oh, the game looks amazing, there's no denying that. but what they seem to be using as a means to add character is just making the character annoying. it's an attempt at something that has failed. it should be called out. i want her to shut up a bit. not entirely. but a bit. point out that she needs to take out the gun, or hint that she should teather the legs or something, but the CONSTANT talking is just rediculous.

I agree with KORNdog about everything on this matter lol
She needs to shut up and not talk constantly like she is recording everything she dpes to an doctor at the mental hospital lol
Everything else, fan-freaking-tastic!

Eh, to each their own, just didn't bother me at all. Lots of games do this (Uncharted in particular, Drake talks to himself constantly). I think when you're playing a single player game its a nice touch to add personality to the hero, and also to suggest new gameplay mechanics to the player. For all we know this could be the tutorial of the game, and Guerilla's own way of teaching game mechanics to players. Perhaps if enough people bitch about it, they'll take notice and tweak it. I think we're far enough away from release that we can probably expect a lot of changes.

as i say, ND get this right. it's who they need to copy off. probably more-so the last of us then uncharted. this is too much. this is like verbal hand holding meets a mentally ill person.

You said lots of games and you only mentioned Uncharted lol

No, lots of games dont do this, only the ones who look at Uncharted "main character guide book" and tries to be that way, like this one and Tomb Raider and that Infamous SS.

I mean, thats 3 examples right there of extremely popular games that I've played recently that do it. I'm playing the Witcher 3 right now, and Geralt is talking ALL the time when I'm using my witcher senses to try to solve a murder, running around murdering fools, or riding my horse across the landscapes. Literally he won't shut up, and I love it. The dialogues are well written and never bothered me once. Its a thing that's existed for a long time now, and its pretty incredible to me that you two are just now noticing it and acting as if its some kind of horrible thing.

I'm genuinely stoked that they're not making another Killzone game. Thank you based Sony for shutting that franchise down (if only for a little bit, but hopefully forever)
