The quite numerous fans of Dark Souls on PC all know who Durante is, since he's the one who produced the now famous patch that made a very poor port into a very acceptable game. He's been able to play Dark Souls II a few weeks ago and made sure it was a good port this time (it is, for the most part), and captured this video that we now host with his blessing.

I mean, at times it takes the game several seconds just to open the menu, and the framerate is inconsistent as all f**k. Then again, i think the entire game is a big downgrade from Dark Souls. Quite disappointing in comparison, tbh.

Demons Souls and neither Dark Souls series were never triple A budget type games like Uncharted series or Battlefield...so that "runs like crap on PS3 console" must be in your mind...aka mental conditioning being a PC elitist.
Also the PC version was designed on whats essentially a 2005 technology GPU and even there it does not take full advantage of it...current PC GPUs are...well GPUs since the year 2007 have doubled and tripled the overall RAW GPU power of those old consoles so all you are playing is overkill.
Be thankful for game consoles otherwise you would be stuck playing Quake III engine games. ;)
