DOA5: Ayane vs Hitomi

Sega, who publishes the game in Europe, just sent us this new video of Dead or Alive 5 showing a fight between Ayane and Hitomi at the top floor of a building. Also worth mentioning, this video is from the demo, to be released next week with Ninja Gaiden 3.

It's a script from Ayanes power blow. Everytime you do a PB in this area a car flies right into your enemy. It looks cool and different rather than having characters hitting walls all the time.

Oh and the video. Yeaaaaah, that's why I love Ayane :D

Hitomi uses the new SS system at 0:52.

I liked Ryu vs Hayate more, more badassery to watch at, Ayane is awesome though, LOVE her design this time around.

Anyways, this is one 3D fighter i look forward too.

Ps. Music was very bad IMO, Ryu vs Hayate music was WAY better, pure epic.

I agree Sath, liked the music from the Hayabusa vs Hayate fight. All in all though, this version is old, like TGS old, the one with Kasumi vs Akira is a much more recent and overall better build.

Guess Team Ninja wanted to show us this video since it's been sitting around their office for awhile. I like it lots, I can tell the direction their heading to is promising, just wish the demo we were getting with NG3 was the more recent build instead of the TGS build, but hey, can't complain.

Yeah, not sure I like Hitomi's new look. Ayane looks great though and I do like that they are going for an older/more realistic look. Some of the transitions seemed a little sudden, like "how did they get there?". But very happy we're getting a DOA5.

So you are buying a full retail price, a CE at that, game for a 4 character fighting demo? LOL

I thought nobody would judge the framerate from internet videos anymore. Besides it's kind a funny that probably-the-crappiest Ninja Gaiden and probably-much-better DOA are being made by the same guys.

I guess they're still doing well even without Itagaki. The girls now get dirty and have even more boob physics what more can you ask for? ^^
