Worst Ninja Gaiden in the series, but as a hardcore fan, I have will get this. I hope it will be atleast decent enough for me to finish the game and get some decent sword action, not expect anything but solid.

Atleast I know the music will be fantastic going by some gameplay videos :)

first ninja gaiden, xbox exclusive, was an awesome game, Ninja Gaiden 2 was decent, Ninja Gaiden 3 is no longer exclusive and we can see how that turned out.

It has nothing to do withe exclusivity.

This game has looked rubbish from day one. They just ruined the formula, infested the game with QTEs and are trying so hard to force a story down our throats. This laughable trailer is making it even worse. Sorry, Koei-Tecmo, I will PASS.

dont like the fact that you only have one primary weapon but I think the rest of the game is ok. Not awesome or in incredible super, but still ok.

Lot's of framerate drops confirmed (source Neogaf) :

''NG3 has the most framerate drops I have ever seen in a Ninja gaiden game, outside of the staircase fight in NG2. At most there are about 5 grunts on screen as well as Ryu, but once you take into all the blood and lighting effects from the New UT, the framerate Chugs down to about 20Fps.''

yeah, this game is going to be utter shite.

ninja gaiden 2 on xbox 360 was so funny when the blood spatter on the walls was actually not on the walls but it just floated on the air instead - still though one of the toughest game series ever - always solid 60fps - decent hardcore gameplay - i dunno why the complains I think this looks great hehehehehe

Its uncertain if its for MP or SP, if its for MP then its extremely stupid.

Now I dont expect them to reanimated and add new moves for them, so expect copy-and-paste from NG2 but with SoB and the new UT animations.

For weapons - previously heard about paid dlc weapons for mp, so most likely we won't see these on sp as well.

Also, the weapons, seems it is free, those 2 weapons anyways, but its uncertain if its MP or SP. Fuck TN if its MP considering MP looks and plays like shit and majority dont give a crap about it.

I think a lot of ppl will only buy it because they admire the previous games...same here i just hope it does not suck too much.

Alot of people will buy because they are a big fan of Hayashi and accessability he has given them.
Less people will buy it because they know the true spirit of Ninja Gaiden is not in this game whatsoever.

This game will bomb hard guarenteed, and then price will get low very quick, then those bargain bin buyer have a reason to get it.

well the multiplayer characters are just Ryus with different skins. They all share the same animations, attacks, SoBs (with the sword) so the chances are high to see the DLC in story mode as well.

I recently played Ninja Gaiden Black on Xbox on normal and hard difficulty and it is my favorite game of this type. Ninja Gaiden 2 was not so good (combat was less tactical and too quick and confusing). When I look at NG3 I am not interested. I will watch some gameplay videos on youtube from final game and I will decide if I want to try it.
