The new DLC for The Crew has been available for a couple of days, so we have prepared a few gameplay videos recorded on PC. The main idea is here to give players the possibility to play cops and robbers together, which is potentially fun in multiplayer, but failed to entertain us much in the newly added missions we played co-op. It is true however that the chase sequences have never truly been dear to our hearts in the main game, which might explain why the addition of a few gadgets to stop the targets (or to escape the cops) has left us a bit cold for now. The most disappointing part maybe is that the game still suffers from heavy stuttering because of a streaming bug of the engine when playing at 60 fps. What we have always liked about the game are the long road trips it allows, and sadly, the framerate issues (no matter what settings you are using) can be really frustrating.

Calling All Units, the second major expansion for The Crew is now available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The new content brings a new storyline and 12 new missions in which players will take the road as elite cop Clara Washington or as a street racer. The Crew Ultimate Edition is also available it contains the main game, Season Pass' DLCs and both expansions Wild Run and Calling All Units.

Anounced yesterday, the new DLC for The Crew: Wild Run, named Calling all Units, was playable at Ubisoft's booth where we were allowed to capture some gameplay. Here is a first video, with a second one coming later hopefully.

A new expansion for The Crew is coming November 29, it's called Calling All Units and you can get a glimpse with the teaser and screens after the jump. Also coming at the same date is the Ultimate Edition of the game which contains as you can guess the base game plus every extra content.

As you know, despite its flaws, we actually really enjoyed 2014's The Crew and found even more fun when the game's major graphical and content update hit last year with The Crew: Wild Run. While the visual overhaul was quite nice, it was still overshadowed by various stuttering and hitching issues. It's an issue where we noticed small skips in performance that even a frame-rate counter wasn't picking up. Thankfully, BlimBlim's venerable plug-in is here to save the day with a more accurate read-out of just what was happening. Want to see more? Follow us inside.

The latest update for The Crew: Wild Run brings a mode: Stunt Races. It allows you to perform tricks and stunts with your bikes on specialized tracks. More details and trailer inside.

Two days after the release of The Crew: Wild Run here are finally six gameplay videos captured from the PC version of the game. As the Summit will only start in a few days, we can only show you the qualifying rounds which will buy your way in provided you win enough medals. We were pleasantly surprised by the PvP races we did yesterday desptite the small number of people at times. To finish, we also went for a long ride using the newly arrived bikes so you can see them in action.

Until we have the time to capture some PC footage of The Crew: Wild Run, we got you a couple of videos of the PS4 version of the original game with the graphics update. Sadly, Amarec decided it would be fun not to record any sound, so we had to come up with something in order to share this. Those who will start the game for the first time this year will be shown 3 of the new specs of the DLC quite early on in the game. As for those who bought The Crew last year, they'll also be able to try the monster truck, the dragster and the drift car, but will have to purchase the DLC if they want more (including the bikes).
Note: We would have loved to reach the western coast in our timelapse video but the servers were shut down for an hour before we could.
Update: 2 Xbox One videos added.

We haven't had much time to play the beta of The Crew: Wild Run since yesterday, but we could still capture a bit more footage with Davton. Apparently, the driving sensations haven't changed much when using the old specs, so if you're looking for something new, you'll have to turn to the new ones. In the following videos, you'll have a sneak peek at the bike and the drift spec, the latter clearly requiring some training to get the hang of it.
