We finally received our GTX 1080 Founder's Edition and decided to give Watch_Dogs and Grand Theft Auto V a new ride to see what the added horsepower could bring to the overall experience. Rockstar's title allows for more maxed out options than with our SLI of 970s, but the biggest improvement can be noticed in Ubisoft's game, which can now run at 60 fps in very high settings. Since the first presentation of Watch_Dogs 2 somehow reminded a bit of GTA V's art style, it felt natural to bring both games together in this news article. Watch_Dogs + Grand Theft Auto V = Watch_Dogs 2? We should be able to find out in just a few months now.

Watch_Dogs is back in the spotlight 6 months after its initial release for two main reasons. First, the WiiU version is finally available and it unsurprisingly is technically limited, just like the 360/PS3 versions. Secondly, after the ACU fiasco, Ubisoft just announced that everyone who bought the game would be offered the first DLC for free and those who purchased the Season Pass would get one game for free among the following ones: Rayman Legends, Just Dance 2015, The Crew, Far Cry 4 and of course Watch_Dogs. That's why we decided to capture the PC version yesterday, to see if our GTX 970 could handle it better today. Playing on ultra settings (except for high textures and temporal SMAA) made it impossible to maintain a steady 60 fps, but the game still looks very good, no matter what some people said back then.

The DLC Bad Blood for Watch_Dogs is now available for Season Pass holders and will be out for everyone on September 30th. The addon lets you play as T-Bone in a new campaign and also gives you access to Street Sweep contracts, a new system of side missions.

Ubisoft has announced the release date for Bad Blood, the new digital content for Watch_Dogs that explores the story of T-Bone through a campaign of 10 missions set in new locations of Chicago. Season pass holders will be able to download this addon on September 23rd, other players will be able to catch it on September 30th. Teaser, screens and more details inside.

While PC gamers are still eargerly waiting for Ubisoft to patch Watch_Dogs, a modder decided to try to give the game its E3 2012 visuals by tweaking a bunch of things which had not been activated in the original files and by adding things as well. Here is a short video we made using the mod so you can see what it's all about.

The PC version of Watch_Dogs may have a bunch of performance issues, but it's still quite impressive to see the work Ubisoft Montreal has achieved when creating a believable world with great lighting effects. Here is a short Gamersyde timelapse with all options set on ultra, except for the textures which we chose to leave on high.

Six months after missing the launch of PS4 and Xbox One, Watch_Dogs is finally in our hands. With so little time to explore Ubisoft Montreal's latest game, we've decided to postpone our review till later in order to take the time necessary to step back and prepare an objective look at the title. Meanwhile, we're not going to leave you without the usual smattering of high-quality videos to whet your appetite. On the menu we have no less than 34 extracts captured and encoded by us. As we prefer to do things half-heartedly, we've taken the time to specify the graphics options used for each video of the PC version (and the specs corresponding to the PC in question).
Note: For videos showing main missions, we made sure to select only sequences located at the beginning of the main story.

It's been almost 2 years since Watch_Dogs was announced, and here we get the last trailer we'll ever get for it (except DLC)! Our own videos will be released on tuesday morning, with a review most likely a bit late.
