Thats the thing I get the feeling there is a bias against itagaki's games because they aren't on the playstation.

So regardless of how good it is I bet it'll never EVER get game of the year honors.

IMO Ninja Gaiden was the best action game of the last generation… It’ll be a colossal task for Itagaki to make NG2 even better…

The first 3/4s of the game are amazing, but then the last bit feels a tad rushed. Rehashed bosses and demon fish? Boourns!

I sort of know what you mean, but I dunno if we had the same problem. For me it was controls mushyness. Everything you were expected to push in that game was mushy. The face buttons of the Xbox pad (though less so the S) were mushy, the L button for dashing/teleporting was mushy, and the game itself was a bit sluggish. Combined, it had this overall mushyness that got incredibly annoying, especially on the stages where you had a bucketload of flying enemies, shooting all sorts of tiny crap at you.

I'm willing to bet the game feels 200% better played on a 360 pad. *wink* *wink* *hint to BC ninjas* *wink*
