GC: State of Mind presentation

Gamescom is a great place to meet with developers and last week was no exception. The man behind State of Mind is a captivating person, his passion for storytelling and the future was catching and when we left we were really impatient to try the final game ourselves. We have been impressed by the apparent depth of the plot and the themes he chose to include, so please take a few minutes to check out the following presentation.

Between two worlds with State of Mind

We completely miss a month and half ago the announcement of the new interesting game from Daedalic so here we are talking about it now. State of Mind is a third-person futuristic thriller that deals with transhumanism and existential drama in a world torn between the dystopian Berlin of 2048 and a utopian virtual world. This will allow you to switch between the two worlds, play multiple characters with multiple choice dialogues. The adventure game is being developed with Unreal Engine 4 and is expected to release in early next year for PC and consoles. In the meantime, trailer and screens inside if you missed them too.

What's up?
  • Tinks
Tinks I didn't understand why he played so poorly either though. Subasic has been amazing the rest of the tourney. A big reason they won against Denmark and Russia (5 Hours ago)
  • Tinks
Tinks @MrWhite: I agree. Penalty like that shouldn't happen in a WC final. Croatia's keeper was screened for almost all of those goals, aside from the deflection (5 Hours ago)
  • nostradamus
nostradamus @Melmoth: oh god, that is amazing. the sounds and visuals are insane for a sim. (5 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @droezelke: For both them? Mbapp was 20 odd yards out. His positioning was shite. Should never have let that one past him. (6 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke If FIFA didn't object so long to get a VAR, the concept could have been bug-fixed 10 years ago. (7 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @Tinks: The VAR is an exvellent tool, but the rules applied to the VAR are restricting them from intervening. Also, the hands-rule is so ill defined that it's completely open to interpretation. (7 Hours ago)

droezelke Then the shot came and as he tried to correct to the right, he was leaning on the wrong leg and went out of balance. (7 Hours ago)
