The Deer God was released a bit more than a week ago and it is quice a nice surprise visually speaking. Even it's pixel art, the game looks truly good in motion, with nice lighting effects and great music (although some will argue it doesn't really fit the mood of the game). Unfortunately, it also has issues: game design can be broken at times when you get stuck because you're not big enough to reach a platform, only because you were supposed to have grown before reaching a spot (which can be hard if you die and respawn as a fawn...). There are also game breaking bugs, as when Davton and I had to give up after surviving 50 days in co-op because the environment had mostly disappeared (not to mention the 20/30 fps framerate we had to bear before that). Nothing that new updates won't fix, but until then, it can be pretty frustrating to lose time and get a game over screen that's not your fault. Some might also not enjoy the repetitiveness of the landscapes as they are generated randomly but it never kept us from playing. The bugs on the other hand...
