Our PC videos of Aragami

Aragami started as a student project in Barcelona but the game got some attention thanks to its demo and the many influences the developers had, among which Tenshu, Metal Gear Solid, Mark of the Ninja and Disohonored. The following videos were captured in co-op mode with Davton, and though we haven't been able to complete the game before the embargo lifts, we wanted to share our experience with you guys. So far, it's been really fun to shadow kill enemies with a friend, though we encoutenred a few annoying bugs (but the game has been patched twice since we played so we hope they have been fixed). WIth its nice art style, its RPG aspect allowing to upgrade the character's abilities provided you find enough scrolls, this is a game that appeals to us. We'll continue playing for sure and will let you know if our first impressions were good. Until then, enjoy the videos!

Aragami launching this Fall on PC/PS4

Formerly known as Twin Souls: Path of Shadows, the stealth game from Lince Works got a new title: Aragami. The game features powers based on the shadows and lets you choose your playstyle (merciless assassin or undetectable ghost). It will release on PC and PlayStation 4 this Fall.

Light on Path of Shadows

You've certainly already heard about it but we didn't talk about Path of Shadows here. What started as a student project could lead into a pretty good new franchise for stealth fans. The devs from Lince Works cite Tenchu, Mark of the Ninja and Dishonored as inspirations, enough to get you interested at least. In this third-person stealth title, you play a reborn warrior who has to save a mysterious deity. The Shadow Control power allows you to create your own darkness areas or teleport between shadows, therefore you can bring death at every corner or move like a ghost. If it's not done yet, download the original protoype build while the studio is porting the game engine to Unity3D and will launch a Kickstarter campaign soon.

Seth @nostradamus: well yeah for good or for bad they went away from initial idea of the series with the last 2 games. (7 Hours ago)
  • Seth
Seth @GriftGFX: oh lack of content has not been an issue on Ubi's games in a long time. ;p If anything, this time they have improved their side quests. (7 Hours ago)
  • nostradamus
nostradamus @Seth: how can on come from the pillars of parkour and assassination sneak mission, to barren no platforming dark souls action lite, i can't comprhend. why call a main ass creed anymore, its derivativ (7 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @Seth: If anything I've heard that Odyssey compounds those issues. I've heard plenty of people say that there's TOO MUCH content. (14 Hours ago)
  • Seth
Seth I'll keep playing once per week, but the Ubi's usual world building, gigantic maps filled with crap is not changed since last gen and is kinda off putting. (15 Hours ago)
  • Seth
Seth @AndreasZ94: i do like the more responsive controls of the main characters, but the world is lifeless coming from RDR2, horse controls and animations are laughable and generation behind competition. (15 Hours ago)
  • Seth
Seth @AndreasZ94: I did tried AC odyssey for a few hours. It's weird, that game is extremely pretty (on PC) and i like some of the side quests and the dialogue choices. (15 Hours ago)
