Of Orcs and Men

After two disappointing Game of Thrones titles, Cyanide is back with Of Orcs and Men, a dark fantasy story in which you play the roles of an orc and a goblin who are up against the Empire of men. Provided you don't expect a AAA title, this new RPG will embark you upon a rather enjoyable journey if you are into mature stories. Thanks to pretty nice visuals (aside from the horrible faces of the human characters) and its efficient music score, the game offers quite a nice ride despite some obvious flaws. By no means does it play in the same league as KOTOR or Dragon Age, but it is nonetheless entertaining if you enjoy KOTOR-like combat and you don't mind it being awfully linear. Of Orcs and Men will be available by the end of this week, so Cyanide and Spiders thought it was time to release the launch trailer of the game. Expect some PC videos on Thursday if things go according to plan.

As repulsive as they are, the Orcs do not like walking alone and it is with this new trailer, a few days before the release, that Focus shows that complementarity that will be born of the agreement between the different characters of Of Orcs and Men.

Of Orcs and Men will certainly have a hard time against some pretty highly-anticipated games when it's released in October. Cyanide and Spiders dropped a bunch of new images which prove once again how impressive character models can be in the game.

If you're not interested in AAA games only, you should know that Of Orcs and Men will be released at the end of September. Graphically, this new title looks pretty good overall, now whether or not the adventure will be worth it still remains to be seen.
