The Last Remnant has been released today in all countries, a first for a Square-Enix RPG. Like many others I didn't expect much from this game, so it's a surprise for me to have enjoyed the first hour so much. And even technically, especially for a UE3 game from a Japanese developer, the game isn't too bad with so far a quite good framerate during the exploration parts. It sure slows down during fights, but since it's not realtime it's not such an issue. More videos tonight and tomorrow!
Update 3: Part 4 in now available. I'm done for the moment, but maybe some more videos showing more of the game will follow over the week-end.

The Last Remnant is playable at the Micromania Games Show, and our two guys recorded a long video of the game, with a first part online as of now!

Square Enix sent out these images of The Last Remnant, together with a confirmation stating that the game will be released on November the 20th on Xbox 360.

Square-Enix released this trailer for The Last Remnant, to be released on Xbox 360 in the middle of November and Playstation 3 at a later stage. The video is four minutes long and shows a lot of in-engine sequences.

After Star Ocean 4, Square-Enix releases some new images of The Last Remnant, their low-budget/low-expectations JRPG planned to hit the shelves next November on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Square-Enix released a whole bunch of images and artworks of The Last Remnant. Quite enough to get us to the Tokyo Games Show where we'll certainly do a lot of videos of that game.

Square-Enix also updated the official japanese site of The Last Remnant with images of two characters named Jager and Wagram, and also imags from the cities of Athlum et Celapaleis.
