2009-11-04 20:52:00 I played couple games and it seems fun. Game uses Steamworks so server list is really easy to use. I love that friends tab! Also the game tracks your stats. EMP grenades are pretty awesome, you lose HUD and spacesuit power when you get hit. --- |

2009-11-04 21:19:22 this game would look a whole lot better if it had that killzone 2 like weapon movement to it (now seen in bad company 2) as it is in that video it all looks a bit static to me. impressive looking game tho. |

2009-11-05 01:24:30 It's quite fun. And the graphics are quite cool too. The moon map looks amazing. But it's something that might get boring bit quick though, if they don't bring free stuff like new maps etc :) |

Hate to break it to you and no, not head bob (practically every FPS has head bob, even doom), more like the CHARACTER is actually moving as you swing your gun to aim, rather then the gun being statically attached to the screen. |

Yeah, I don't think that should ever be in an FPS again. you know how 99% of FPS's dont feel like the character you control even has a body, instead you just float along with an artificial bounce added...well, killzone 2 has the opposite of that, when you turn it feels like the character is turning, not just the screen. cant explain it better then that tbh. if you STILL dont get it, then god help your children...lol :P |

2009-11-05 16:09:46 Flight Training Available! Some people complained that there was no way to set up a private 1-player server at this time just to experiment and train. While you'll have to wait for that until the dedicated server files become publicly available, we have a solution. FGS has set up a couple of servers specifically for training - in case you haven't completed the Zero-G combat training course elsewhere. Just look up servers labeled... Flight Training - No Damage On these servers you can happily experiment with the controls and learn the levels without a risk of someone sneaking up on you and ripping your spacesuit open. That is a good idea. I am going to try that next. Always as I am admiring the scenery someone tankshots me. Sniper is also very hard to use, I should train it on this server. Also it's awesome to power down the suit and try to ambush people. Too bad you lose your hud and most of the sound effects. --- |

2009-11-16 17:40:38 "Moonrise" Content Pack Announced Today we announced our plans for the first content pack for Shattered Horizon. Containing four new levels set around the Moon, the "Moonrise" pack will double the number of levels in the game and will be free to all players. Starting this week players who pre-ordered Shattered Horizon and selected beta testers will be invited to begin play-testing the new levels. We will be posting more details on how that is going to work in the next few days. I can't wait for this. --- |
