Some reviews/impressions out, of the first episodes, all i've read is good things! Seems like HBO got a big thing in their hands, now let's hope people subscribe for HBO. Wish i could, will make my part buying it when releases on bluray/dvd :)

The magic is light in the books, as for monsters too. There's no orcs, elfs etc.
Main thing in this are the (great) characters, it feels like medieval Europe, lots of families fighting for a throne; lots of plots going at the same time.
Can't wait to see reactions of the show, from who didn't read the books, on stuff that happens.

AMC did rly nice, Walking dead aired in channel Fox here in Portugal (made some deal i guess), only few days after original debut in USA, wish HBO did same.
Does anyone know how long HBO usually takes to release Bluray/dvds? Hope doesn't take long.

Arya, Tyrion, Dany(:O) are so perfect :), most of the cast infact is great.
And oh good news:
The gross audience for the premiere night of GAME OF THRONES on the main HBO channel was 4.2 million viewers.
And hurrah! Season 2! Can't wait to see Stannis, Brienne (lol) etc. Man if this gets to season 3, so much epicness to witness on TV.

Since 6810 DaysI'm not familiar with the book(s), so it wasn't totally clear who everyone was in relation to everyone else. I'll definitely keep watching though as the overall quality was top notch...and that Emilia Clarke is damn fine.
