This wouldn't make sense on the 360 when you've got the guide for that. One thing they want to sort out before Halo 3 ships is matchmaking. Specifically the Party system. At present I haven't seen an implementation of this in the 360 UI and given that all that is handled by the guide, I guessing it will have to be in a future update. I'm sure I've read stuff about multi-party matchmaking but this NEEDS to be in Halo 3. Multiplayer lobbies could do with a bit of an overhaul overall in my opinion. The only one that doesn't drive me nuts is Battlefield at the min, GRAW, PD0 and CoD2 can all be a bit frustrating to get a game going at times. also i dont understand why the guide would have anything to do with a matchmaking system like halo 2s. |

2006-05-17 03:59:52 yea the halo 2 matchmaking system needs to be copied by just about every game with online multiplayer. just seems crazy microsoft wouldn't build it into the system. |

A next gen game should self configure 2 360's, you would select multiplayer and it would give you the option to play on XBL or via Link isn't that how the others worked ? To be honest i can't say i spent enough time with Halo 1 and 2 to know.. |

2006-05-18 22:47:09 sucks that screen is fake. the classic mode option had me excited. i still hope some how, some way, i'll be able to play halo 1 multiplayer on live. the halo 1 multiplayer is much better than the second. |

And split screen ? in halo ? I also agree that is the AR--I hope the battle rifle makes an appearance as well, personally I prefer it to the AR by bunches. |
