I played Vampaire Bloolines on 512 mb ram and there was 5 min loadings., then I bought 2gb ram and it worked - loading times decrease
Well that's definitely true if you don't already have enough ram, but there are games that are slow loading even with an excessive amount of memory. It's all about where your bottleneck is.

ok
I played it
2 hours 38 min - Mage Origin story
AWESOME I love it!
Loading are very quick. I played all options on High with 16X AA and 1080p
I love grafics in isometric view. looks like baldurs gate and ps torment's locations but it actually in 3d
a lot of poligons on characters and cool light effects.
gameplay - very nice. I love some cool tactics. used special rune, that stoped enemies if they failed their mental stabylity test and then - frozen them with my cool cold magick. Then my partners broke the ice)))
cutscenes look very cool. there are a lot more alive then NWN2. camera moves, chars moves, face animations cool. I created character that looks like Shepard but with Kaim Argonar's hair)))))
GOTY!

ok, some new scores from motherrussia)))

Igromania (Gamemania magazine):

Gameplay - 9
Grafics - 9
Sound and Misic - 8
Controls - 8
High Value of Replayability - YES
Awesome Story - YES
Originality - NO
Easy - NO
Justification of the expectations - 90%

Verdict - 9/10
Without having changed the time-proved mechanics, BioWare created in the familiar decorations the most adult and most severe rpg game of all time. Most terrible here - not the blood and atrocity, but the cruelty of people.

AG.ru (Most stupid russian site ever) - "92% Awesome" "Editor's Choice"

Seems like we have a winner. Finally a real treat for crpg fans. Who knows, maybe it will compete with U2 for GOTY title.

Man, the wait is killing me. I truly hope the game has a preload on Steam. D2D will have one. I mean a game big as 16GB+, and no preload, will be a painful day on 6 November.

And lol, so funny here's the official OP topic of DA on neogaf.

What's up?
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Sorry, imagine THEM standing on THEIR own I meant to say. (8 minutes ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 The games counterpart is the interaction, the rules of it, the mechanics. Yet many seem to vastly value its storytelling component over those. Or rather, be unable to imagine it standing on its own. (10 minutes ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Sure, but games are much more than storytelling devices, unlike movies. Sure, a song can move you with lyrics, but we listen for the melody, something a book can't give us. (13 minutes ago)
  • Ronsauce
Ronsauce If paintings/sculptures /movies/fashion can all be praised for their esthetics, I'm sure games can too. (17 minutes ago)
  • Ronsauce
Ronsauce @SimonM7: I always thought the debate was whether games were art, NOT whether they are their own artform...which they would be if they were art in the first place. (19 minutes ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer ATI makes the crappiest GPU's seriously, my GPU keeps freezing and crashing my computer after a 30 min intense workout. Didn't the 360 ATI GPU have the same problem? Cheap bastards (1 Hour ago)
  • SimonM7
SimonM7 Yeah. We harp on about games supposedly being their own artform, yet the majority of players value the aspects shared with other mediums the most. Not exactly an airtight case. (1 Hour ago)
