2010-12-12 09:52:38 Only thing that needs to change is the leveling system, i despised the way it worked in oblivion --- |

2010-12-12 11:01:30 The TES games have always had slow leveling, what really needs to change is the scaling of enemies and loot. Well, i guess i wouldn't cry if they removed the bonus system thing to ease off some of the grind compulsions it generates :P --- |

2010-12-12 14:12:48 This the best thing to come out of yesterday's VGAs. I am sooo hyped up for this! I spent almost 150 hours in Oblivion! |

2010-12-12 15:05:38 Yeah i played vanilla oblivion for at least 200 hours on the 360, then at least another 100 on PC with a boatload of mods :) --- |

2010-12-12 18:38:26 @Megido: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2010-08-16-todd-howard-working-on-two-new-games. I think it's that interview where he says it. Might be another, I'm not 100%. --- |

2010-12-12 18:39:56 New engine? because the one they have been dragging through the mud this gen is not exactly very good, on consoles anyway. --- |

2010-12-12 18:53:04 Howard wouldn't be drawn on many details about the game - thought to be a new Elder Scrolls title - but said the technology was derived from the engine that powered Fallout 3, albeit with significant modifications. "Fallout 3 technically does a lot more than Oblivion. The new stuff is an even bigger jump from that," he said. "I can say it is on the existing platforms, which we're really happy with. You almost feel like you have a new console when you see the game." --- |

2010-12-12 19:22:07 I *thought* they said they'd be using Gamebyro a while back. It would be a bummer but.... it's Elderscrolls V! |

It would be a bummer but.... it's Elderscrolls V! edit: I actually highly doubt it's "all-new," but who knows, it could be. But when I say that, it's worth noting that I'm acknowledging that a lot of "new" engines are just heavy upgrades on old technology. Call of Duty still contains Quake stuff guys! I wouldn't even worry about it 'til we see the game proper. and thank you Grim! That name has been on the tip of my tongue since last night! --- |

2010-12-12 22:50:03 i just hope while they where shopping for a new engine, they picked up a few decent animators and voice actors while they where at it...lol i dont think i can listen to the same stiff characters anymore that all sound alike. |
