2008-03-08 14:19:25 MAn this is looking super, intense action love it. looks like they paid close atention to the sound, im loving it: the reverb of the guns shooting and the flangery sound when you are badly wounded very cool. |

2008-03-08 14:31:53 "intense" is the best word for it, although two things stood out for me, how many damn punches does it take to kill a guy!? daayumm, n the AI looked a lil bit retarded --- |

2008-03-08 14:50:44 This looks really good. Love the sound, visuals etc. The building damage looks very inconsistent, but man it looks so visceral and intense. --- |

2008-03-08 17:48:07 Apart from the Non-existent A.I. it looks pretty good. With A.I like that, I dont think i'll bother with the single player if I were to get this. --- |

2008-03-08 17:52:17 Yeah the AI and the fact that it must be set on a very easy level setting, which I prefer hardened or veteran on COD, It really bothers me seeing near invulnerable players taking all these bullet hits and not dieing. |

2008-03-08 18:07:22 That's some of the best sound design I've heard. |

2008-03-08 18:53:26 Uh...........well. Graphics look good, but obviously the damage is once again not real damage, it's all freaking pre-defined. --- |

2008-03-08 20:32:30 In reply to TheBeagle (2008-03-08 18:11:38) Posted by TheBeagle Wouldn't be much of a video if the player kept dying. Some of the sound fx were awesome... some not so much. |

2008-03-09 05:27:11 Horrible tearing, even worse AI, and the enemies are like superhumans impervious to large amounts of small arms fire. The controls/movement look pretty bad too. --- |

2008-03-09 05:28:03 Does MC/BC have two different grenade buttons, like BF2? One for full power and one for dynamic distance? Posted by Acert93 Great looking engine though! |

2008-03-09 15:32:15 I just wish more games would adopt sound design like this. I hate the flat unconvincing sound in COD4 etc. Even PDZ had different sounds for when people were shooting beyond a wall or inside a building. Halo 3 has that awesome sound effect when you hear guns at a distance. --- |

2008-03-10 00:44:29 You can tell the direction (to a certain extent) but thats where it ends. You don't know if they are inside the same building as you or behind a wall etc. Maybe I'm expecting to much but at the moment I'm mostly satisfied with graphics. When I play a game which has great sound it makes all the difference. --- |

2008-03-10 12:41:59 In reply to GriftGFX (2008-03-09 23:28:10) Posted by GriftGFX COD4 has pretty good directional sound though.. and honestly sound is more important in COD than in any other FPS I've ever played. Walking/Running makes so much damn noise that you can hear someone coming from a mile away if they're not walking/crouching. It's the only FPS I play that I downright refuse to listen to music while pubbing, and on Vent we're always telling each other to keep the coms clear so we can hear our surroundings. I also liked the scripted sound effect it has for the online, like the automatic communication the characters make when reloaded, throwing grenades...etc. very cool, makes it so much intense. But it also played a appropriate background music now and then when things got heated. --- |

2008-03-10 12:49:44 I actually hate the music. I mostly play S&D and the music always comes up at the worst possible moments, when you need as little ambient noise as possible. When you're trying to clutch, and it's like 1v3 or something and you need to hear your opponents in order to win, it's very obnoxious when background music interrupts your ability to audibly locate the other players. |

2008-03-10 13:14:11 You hate the COd4 music, or you just hate it when it comes in bad moments? --- |
| GriftGFX He can also ban your ass! Since 1536 Days |
2008-03-10 22:58:19 I don't care how good or bad the music is, it sucks that there is music in multiplayer period, especially in a game where sound can be a crucial component to winning a round.. and no.. you can't turn it off nor can you adjust its volume in relation to other sound effects. |
| Sath Missed the hay Since 1403 Days |
2008-03-10 23:37:35 Well I for one appreciate some type of ambient music in multiplayer now and then. --- |
