I like the song. The lyrics are way better than that thing that was in Blue Dragon. It's basically just a love song akin to "Eyes On Me" and "Small Of Two Pieces". I don't think it went well with the trailer though.

dont like the song. Reminds me of FFX-2. ugggggh. Good gfx tho. dont like the character designs tho but game still looks good tho.

Im glad to see protectra in there, I hope there are a lot of area of effect spells like this, hastega and shellra etc.

The thing I didn't like about Blue Dragon was that to cast protect on all the characters you needed to charge the spell which kind of left you with your pants down.

I just hope they have summons. Give me summons, and I'll be happy. I mean come on, it's like yeah I could do a normal lame attack, or I could summon FREAKING BAHAMUT!



Also, good god show a different attack for Kaim. It's like that's all he can do...slap you with his sword. I believe you could use magic spells with him in the '06 demo, no? So what gives :p

Yes you could, but im guessing hes not a magic class so his magic is limited.

I would imagine he is more a warrior class and they are always boring IMO.

I very much doubt we will see summons.

Really cool, Hironobu is the RPG maker ;). I really wish the last rumours about SE selling the rights of Chrono Trigger to Hironobu's company turn out to be truth.

It's not really strategy when you can't cast on all your characters.

ie, if you cast from one end of the circle, it doesn't reach the other end, i found that to be a bit lame.

To me strategy is deciding whether to cast a field effect spell or not, or whether to have a white mage in the party altogether. (plus we have the wall system)

Turn based games are long winded enough without having to miss a turn.

I hope LO has better throught out battles, not just a couple hits and the enemy is dead, the machine in the demo was a whore to beat, but everything after that was 1 or 2 hits to kill.
