Sorry no new info. I just wanted to say this game owns. I played the demo a bit and now it actually worked :P I had some problems my last time, game was running 2-3 fps. Anyway now it is working much better :) Levels are quite good in the demo but my personal favourite is Shangrila, so beautiful! I have skipped all the UT games between this and the first one but collectors edition seems to be really cool.

Does anyone know how many levels game contains? I liked really much first UT games levels. Nice variety like castles, space stations, top of the skyscraper... so I just wanted to know how many this has or has it been told yet?

~40 I believe. Obviously some will be tiny DM focused maps for 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2 etc.

There's actually been some chatter about this, both the console versions and the PC version. PC game ships VERY soon (next week?) so.. that's good :) ve3D.ign.com has a lot of new videos and screenshots.. I'm too lazy to link to them directly though. Maybe later :)

Maybe I check couple videos to see how the game should look. I am quite impressed how good the game looks (lowest settings) and runs. Not perfect but playable :)

My demo won't save any changes I make and logs me out sometimes. Thats a bit strange and annoying.

Arrrgh I hate those people who take that hover vehicle and keeps driving in the spawn points. Nice way to start playing is to get killed right away... like all the time.

I'm sorta curious how Unreal Warfare will play out. The game is out, by the way, so where the hell are the reviews? I guess they need it to get into the hands of the community first.. but I want them now.

I'm looking forward to seeing the regulars review it.. gamespot, ign, etc. I can't wait until someone mentions the weak single player experience. I bet they all do. That's what Epic gets for trying to convince people there's actually a single player campaign :)

I think it's going to be something like Unreal Championship 2. VE3D had some videos up (ve3d.ign.com) including single player I believe, but I haven't really watched them.. so I don't know much.

apparently it has a slightly deeper story then gears (not hard consider how 1 dimentional the characters where in that) but your not going to get single player specific objectives or AI routines etc etc. its basically the multiplayer with bots with some random reasoning involving revenge behind it. probably worth playing but dont expect the next half life.

Deeper story than Gears? What gives you that idea? The campaign itself is probably a bunch of bot matches like UC2.. that's what I'm expecting. I don't expect to see much if any character development either. I don't see how that can compare with something with an actual campaign.

But then again, I haven't played Gears SP yet. :P

I'm pretty sure the SP in UT3 will be botmatches again, nothing more or special.. It won't be a real SP game like Gears of War was..

But who cares about SP in a UT game anyway???

PC version runs nicely on my machine, can having runnong at full settings and it playe just fine. might get it, played UT2004 to death so i expect i'll do the same with this one

Ok bad news for Europeans! The game will be out on PS3 in the US before Christmas but wont hit the other side of the atlantic ocean until Early next year. Im guessing it's region free anyway ...

I think tomorrow is the release date for the game (EU) but I can't find any shop selling Collector's Edition. Play.com seems to have it but it might stuck in to customs :/ If I have time I am going to check some shops tomorrow and if there is no CE it means no UT3 for me.

Regular edition all the way for me. Some solid reviews so far.. the valid complaints about the games lack of progression seem relatively fair, but then again, what did people expect? The way I see it, UT can never really escape its past without becoming a different game all together, and it's evolved in pretty drastic form compared to some other run and gun shooters (Quake, Halo). That's all fine and well as far as I'm concerned, my entire interest in this game pretty much revolves around those oldschool values. Personally, I don't see myself ever taking UT too seriously, but I want a quick and fun game to pick up and play during my downtime with other shooters.

The other thing that people seem to be pretty critical of is the games front end menus. They're apparently very "console like" -- which is a bit of a turn off for most PC users -- but I'll live.

I'll be getting it, but I'm not in a big hurry. And like I said before, regular edition for me .. CE's don't generally offer enough value to hold my interest anymore. Hardly anyone who ever buys them is actually getting any collector value out them either, especially considering that games tend to drop dramatically in value in a pretty short period of time.
