Indeed. I remember when Naughty Dog said - almost asking for hatred from a self confessed sony-hater like I was back then - that they're developing for the PS2 and not the Dreamcast because that's where the money is. They'd tame any tech hurdles just to put out the best games on the most economically viable platform.

I hated hated hated haaateeed them for it.

Now, 6-ish years later that's one of the defining moments in my mind when it comes to Naughty dog. I have perhaps been a little selective in my paraphrasing of what they said, but nonetheless:

They'll tame any tech hurdle to bring out the best games.

They've proved beyond doubt that they could with what surely still has to rank among the most technically impressive PS2 games in Jak 2 and 3, and I have the outmost confidence that this'll be no different.

The name is a bit naff though I suppose, but who the hell liked "Jak & Daxter" at first anyway?

I didn't realise this game had an actual name now. It looks beautiful, definitly one thing to look forward to on PS3.

You just know it's gonna be a fucking joy to control him too, what with Naughty Dog's platforming roots and this.. basic understanding of the symbiotic relationship between controls/weight/animation. :)

Can anyone just feel how much this game is going to rock?

No bad words can be said about this game and yes those screens are old.
The newest thing we got from this game is that trailer but I honestly don't care about anything but the release date!
