After updating our Nvidia drivers today, we did as fast as we could to get you some PC ultra footage of Just Cause 3. Note that we deactivated the blur effect (which oddly doesn't entirely stop it apparently as you'll see in the fourth extract) and the Edge fade option.
Our rig: i5 4670K @ 4.1 GHz, 8 Go RAM, Windows 10, SLI Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 Gigabyte OC.
Note: We've just witnessed massive slowdowns in the game, we'll have a video up in a bit.
Update: FPS Analysis video added.
Update 2: SMAATx2 apparently blurs the image even if the Blur option is off. Use SMAA until it gets fixed.

The Graphics on the other hand blow much of JC2 out of the water. Explosions, physics, lighting on the trees (the leaves actually illuminate with the sun rays). the detail on the vehicles are also 10x better. HBAO+
JC3 is a much better JC2 if anything. there's still some updates to come for JC3 on PC/XB1/PS4, so it's good that i held off on picking it up just yet. the game has much to be desired gameplay wise so it's definitely on my list.

Not all 9/10+ games are fun, some of them get the score for overall complete factors. Fun Factor is something also to consider on game purchase. Like many fighting games which have also nonsensical qualities but are simply fun.
As for fighting games: if they were single player experiences they would not be very popular. It blows my mind that they did not include co-op in this game. The co-op mod for JC2 was immensely popular even though there was nothing to do in it.

I got the PC version and it works really well in multi-screen as well looks rad on three screens(no issues btw).
If you want more of 2 go get it now, if you are looking for something totally new this is not it.
Thanks for the vids.

...So if the game was performing flawless, would it score higher i'm guessing? Fallout4 also shipped with bugs. the Witcher3 as well which has 8 patches on the consoles.
edit: it seems like a fix is on its way: http://steamcommunity.com/games/225540#announcemen...
Could you please do some more PC videos with the latest Just Cause 3 patches?
You did several follow-up videos for The Witcher 3 when new patches were out.
Could you please do the same justice for Just Cause 3?
And if you do it: Could you please enable blur and edge fade and use SMAA (instead of SMAA_T2X) this time around?

?
According to the internet, disabling both the ingame fullscreen and ingame V-Sync option and then starting the game with "/borderless /windowed" should result in a much better performance. V-Sync can then be forced through the driver.
Also, according to the internet, increasing the virtual memory (paging file size), might also help.
Any chance you could try that?
It would be much appreciated.
You are probably running the game in standard fullscreen with in-game V-Sync enabled, which probably leads to it running with double buffering, which is causing the framerate to drop from 60 fps immediately down to 30/20/15/10... fps, when 60 fps can not be sustained.
Again:
Disabling both the ingame fullscreen and ingame V-Sync option and then starting the game with "/borderless /windowed" should result in a much better performance. V-Sync can then be forced through the driver.
Why should it result in a better performance? Because this should make the game run with triple buffering, which allows the game to drop below 60 fps without immediately dropping down to 30 fps.
Have you tried it:

I think it's a little sad that the game is being shown with SMAA_T2X and double buffering on Gamersyde, making it look suboptimal.
