lol at #2, the moral of that story, dont try to kill a tank with a machine gun...lol

looks like they have upped the sensitivity of the aiming too seeing as the guy in the 3rd video was all over the place with his shot. nice underwater effect when he fell off the cliff face tho.

they'd probably blow up the ps3 if they tried to push co-op with those visuals.

It would be really nice though if they added a horde type mode to multi.. or even specific co-op like MW2's spec ops

i'd be happy with a mode specific visual downgrade if they added split-screen co-op. i can imagine if not split-screen there'll be an online co-op. they seem to be making everything better. it'd be odd for them to avoid the main thing people wanted from the second game (aside from more responsive controls)

I've got my jaw on the floor. This is Pre-alpha code? I don't think so, It's too much polished.

there are still bugs (even in the edited trailer you can see some), apparently some of the models are just place holder too. remember the massive jump in visual quality when killzone 2 went gold. i expect the same thing to happen here. polish comes when they have everything in place. sure it looks amazing as it stands. but there will no doubt be a lot more to do.

If I buy this game I will play it with the move controlller, the dual shock is AWFUL for FPSs

Cross battle device my friend!

Hook that to ps3 and then hook your wired 360 controller to that device and you are good to go :)

Get out! A big reason my PS3 doesn't get much play time is that I have to use their controller! How well does it work?

I bought one for NGS2 (didnt have any FPS) but then I returned it (can't play such a genre on a 360 controller its too big).

Worked PERFECTLY!
All the PS3 buttons is automatically cloned to the 360.

There is a newer version were you can manually map what buttons do what, I think its 2.0 version.
Check youtube they have videos :)

OMG!

Truly phenomenal graphics.

This, Crysis 2 and Rage have blown me away. It's amazing how much the PS3 and X360 have still got to give.

You guys that have problems with the PS3 controller must have giant sausage finger hands, I have no problems with either controller.

Indeed.

The analogs on the 360 is a bit better though, more tight and has "force pushing" than the PS3 has a bit more loose.

But yeah I prefer the PS3 controller overal for all my games, the 360 makes my hands hurt after a while and its too big and "clunky", let alones the buttons are too seperated.
And no I dont mind the triggers on DS3, after a while in shooting I get used to it and dont think about it anymore.

I have them as well...my fingers hurt after using them within 5 minutes :(
It is too far out from the controllers and they feel too hard to pull them in.

But I am not using those anymore.

Lol, I always thought it( 360 controller) was perfect, but I also LOVED the old "Duke" controller...

LOL it would play the same ;)

But as I said, that Cross Game battle device or whatever it is called works like a charm, clones all the buttons from PS3 to 360 controller automatically, very nice.

I MIGHT buy one again for Red Dead Redemption, using the triggers on DS3 for shoot/aim by force is annoying!
No idea why the hell Rockstar did this.
