Video PC Xbox 360 PS3

Our friends over at Los Angeles managed to film the whole Mafia 2 demo on the E3 showfloor. High quality video inside!

This game keeps looking better and better. I think the delays have been a positive thing. Will be picking this up if I can afford it when it comes out, a lot of good things out this year.

Looks really good, but this huge crosshair is really distracting :/.
Should be much more subtle.

really impressed with the framerate.

Sounds like they'll be a decent soundtrack attached to it too

this is the most frustrating thing about E3 and cam footage. sure it's awesome to get all this news and footage, but the people playing verge on being retarded. it's a frustrating thing to watch, you just want to rip the controller from their hands and do it yourself.

I love how the (American 1950's) cars handle realisticly, like boats.. :P

There is something about this game that just doesn't do it for me. Like there's something missing...

It looks great, but i am missing one thing. While you DO see blood on the screen when you get hit. When Vito at one part puts plenty of bullets in a dude, you hardly see any blood. On the wall behind the dude however, its full of bulletholes but also a complete absence of any blood, which is really too bad. If you look at games like GTA IV and RDR , blood spatters around and on the walls, it adds to the realism. It's not something that will ruin the whole game for me, but i'll miss it.

movement looks very odd for some reason i cant put my finger on it. looks too unnatural and sorta clunky. and i dunno after all the detail i saw put into GTA IV's city this city looks a little bland and empty

That's true and i never expected that to be in this game. Last year i saw a very long gameplay demonstration and i noticed that it simply wasn't as 'alive' as GTA IV. I think the strength of this game is the story and the missions. I don't think walking around and watching what kind of things NPC's do randomly will be very fun...could be very wrong about that though.

Hard to get impressed by all these open world games after I finished Red Faction Guerrilla recently. The last mission in Red Faction was one of the best and most intense missions I have ever played in an open world game. It reminded me of the later mission in Driver 1 on PSX.

I find it hard to go back to GTA Liberty City Stories and RDR after playing Red Faction Guerrilla. Game is TOO awesome when it gets going
