Xbox 360 PS3

As promised Rockstar has released the first Red Dead Redemption trailer a few hours ago, and as expected it's an excellent one!

Looks cool. Hope it is not just a GTA-skin. Looks more story-driven then Juarez.

The WMV here looks exactly like the 22MB MP4 I downloaded from Youtube. Did Gamersyde get this from Rockstar directly or is this ripped from another site. The compression / resolution looks atrocious.

totally off-ed by this. this is not half-way impressive as the initial shots suggested. the original "Red Dead Revolver" was a step up in its time on ps2, with all those photorealistic towns, animations and details, beautiful gunshots, story and length. visuals-wise this game is a step way back.

uh.. There's always one...

Step backwards? Get some glasses. It's using the same engine as GTA4, and probably substantially improved too.

It's like those people who said COD:World At War didn't look as good as COD4...

Scuse me, are we talking about the same game here? Red Dead revolver looked alright at best, and certainly there was nothing photorealistic about it. Good game, but i can't rightly say that graphics were it's strongest card.

I loved Red Dead Revolver, but dude not for the graphics! Even for their time, they were pretty bare (compared to Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, another western game), and the animations were pretty simple (remember riding the horses?).

I'm hoping Anne or Shadow Wolf are back, they had varied gameplay, but I hope they focus a bit more this time, which looks like it from all the Red in this trailer.
