About a week ago, Gamesyde was invited to Tom Clancy's EndWar's fanday in Paris, not too far from the Eiffel Tower that blows up on the game's cover. Most of the team already was in Tokyo for the TGS and they had taken all the cameras with them and the rest of the guys were too busy to accompany me. As a result, I ended up being the only one representing the site in a little multiplayer tournament. More info inside, if you're in to reading that is.
Ubisoft released some images of the other game in the Tom Clancy's series, Tom Clancy's EndWar. The game recently had a closed beta running this summer.
Update: More screens and a trailer added.
Ubisoft took time to do a video medley of their games at the expo, including Shaun White Snowboarding, Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, Prince of Persia, Tom Clancy's HAWX, Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party, Far Cry 2, Tom Clancy's EndWar and more.
As a change from the usual duo gallery/trailer, Ubisoft released a trio of media for Tom Clancy's EndWar: Gallery, images and a commented video.
And here comes one more Gamersyde Diaries ! This week, we look back at the Ubisoft's Ubidays with three features on games that are as different from each other as possible: Shaun White Snowboarding, Far Cry 2 (360 version), Tom Clancy's HAWX - and even a little something on Tom Clancy's EndWar's voice command system. A heavy line-up for a Diaries filled with exclusive footage, interviews and our impressions as usual. Enjoy, and don't hesitate to watch the stream since our new player is much bigger and better than the old one !
Snoopers also sent us this video of Tom Clancy's EndWar's presentation, showing a very convincing voice command system.
Tom Clancy's EndWar is also presented at the expo, letting you control your units by voice.
Update: Trailer added.
Here's a small amount of images for Tom Clancy's EndWar, desbribed as an "strategy videogame with action" by Serge Hascoët, editorial director at Ubisoft. To this day, it stills seems pretty intriguing ; it takes place during World War III and the player will be able to control then send armies fighting everywhere on the globe, with an ambitious online mode where every battle has a consequence on the general scenario. How they'll achieve this, we don't know exactly, but it seems promising.
Ubisoft releases a new trailer of Tom Clancy's EndWar, its console RTS which we haven't heard of for a long time. The video features cinematics and - for the first time - some new gameplay footage.
