Fucking Gamefly won't send me this game game already. I bought it while I was on vacation, but one of the baggage workers went in my bag and stole it(amongst other things). I barely got an hour into it. Fuckers.

Yesterday was fantastic!

I played from 23 in the night to 3:30 in the morning LOL and I still didnt want to turn it off.
I am afraid to say that I am very addicted to this, yes more than Ninja Gaiden...trust me fellas, its a good thing ;)

Anyways I a few stuff like the lasso and that is extremely helpful for the bounty hunting, take them alive and get bonus rewards for not killing them. Takes a bit to learn how to do it properly because they will try and get out of it.

The crazy horse balance is neat too, I thought it would be difficult but it was retty easy.

I also unlocked a few outfits, Deadly Assassin is cool, more time, slower slo motion and faster dead eye ability regenerates very cool. Comes in handy when you got some bandits behind you.
Then there is one outfit that looks like John's default cowboy outfit but its called Walton's outfit I think, has a bandana around the neck and one of those thick leather overlays on the legs.

This what I DONT like...

mini games, my god its soooo boring.
I hate playing cards because I dont know how pker, blackjack...etc. any of them works, even with the information guide they give you, I didnt understand one bit.
I did play poker because I was forced to to get the last part of the Deadly Assassin outfit (i think). I played with one older guy, looked to be a shop owner or something. I kept increasing the stake and kept pressing "Hit" and I won that way LOL Random FTW? :P
I had to "Eliminate" all th poker players so I was lucky to win and lucky enough to have only one man in the game.

Horseshow game is annoying as hell, very hard to do it, that was my last game I had to do for a outfit challenge before me turning the game off.
Took many annoying tries to get the hang of it.

I hate the mini games, never liked them in games.
I am sure there will be more for some outfits *sigh* but atleast I know how they work.

One small annoyance I found is that when you are riding very fast and you get a random help call out, sometimes when you try to get back to help them the "mission" goes away, even when it didnt take more than 5 seconds.

I had one little side mission were I was in Thieves Landing and one female shop owner came running to me for help about some thief running off by stealing something. I went after him with the horse and when I finally got to him I used the lasso to bring him back, but from nowhere...a fucking cougar son-of-a-bitch came to attack me LOL.
The cougar hit me once badly but I got lucky not to die because the entire screen went red, but the thief died so I quickly went up on the horse and just went out of there.

Hearing the rawr of the cougar is scary as hell, I always panic LOL
But WTF is cougars doing there though, I thought there were up north.

I just love how many challenges there are in the game, SP and MP.
I seen some of the challenges and i have barely done much of them, very neat.
I can see myself playing it for a very long time, let alone choosing sides like being a rebel, lawman, bandit...etc. and unlocking tons of stuff for MP and the MP gameplay.

So much to do!

But yeah I am very close to say that Red Dead Redemption is becoming my favorite game, no game has ever been so addicting to me, and its a western, it is out of my typical sci-fi/fantasy stuff :)

Alright this is another complaint I have.

I do wish they could make the chests glow, like Assassins Creed.
It is extremely difficult to find these treasure chests...etc. with the entire game being mostly brown/orange its hard to notice them, so running into every shack, building, corner just to see if there is anything you can interact with is abit annoying.

I am doing a treasure hunt for a outfit and the radius is freaking huge, its impossible for me to find it, and I did take over some gan hideout building they took over, but I didnt find anything *sigh*.

it wouldn't be a treasure hunt if it was easy to find :P

I am not saying it be on the map or anything.
But if you are somewhat close you can see it glow...like the weapons on the ground.

Treasure hunting is really badass IMO I find them all by myself without a guide,once you realize how the treasure map gives you the hint it becomes easy,sometimes it tells you a shape of the real map and sometimes it tells you the real shape of the place but with the proportions all different or if you see waves in the map is because the treasure is close to the Rio Bravo and so on.

I know the locations of all of them so if you have some trouble in one I could give you some directions.

Its the Bollard Twins outfit Sath and it was my favorite of all almost the entire duration of the game,he looks like a true old west cowboy IMO.

Im mising a location Im at 93/94 and I know its on West Elizabeth but I already checked the entire map and it not appears Im thinking is because it will be from a story mission or something.

It happened a cool thing to me some day ago and I forgot to post it LOL but I was in Blackwater doin some duel well I disarmed the guy and a lady approach me exactly the same as you Sath and told me someone as robbed her so I look around where the little red mark is in the minimap and I saw him running uphill at the distance I draw my sniper rifle and without moving in my horse I put a bullet to his head it was glorious because he was really far I could barely see him through the sniper lense,it was a lucky shoot I know but it felt badass,kinda like John Dunbar in Dance with Wolves LOL!!

But man this game is fantastic IMO.

I got a double-action revolver, and wow it is badass to use.
It its really punchy and powerful with a nice range and power going on, very good stuff (MP).

I tried to do the $1000 bounty outlaw and damn it took me almost forever because they will swarm from all over you if you reach above 500.
Now I can do another challenge, but now its 5000! LOL its impossible to do it alone.

Right now I am trying to find treasure hunter outfit but some scraps are giving me some trouble because its just not working, I can't find the chests nor some characters will show up (yes i checked youtube for it) but it wont work for me :(

One thing I need to point out is the ragdoll.
Now I know everyone is praising it in GTA4, but I never cared for it, but seeing it in RDR, probably the best ragdoll physics I have seen.
It is just so fun seeing them react to any part of the body I shoot, except the hat LOL

I do wish Rockstar would get some help from Naughty Dog though for its cover mechanics.
Obviously RDR is using the same formula of freeform movement, Uncharted games did this best IMO.
Sometimes when you are in cover and you aim, the characters aim wont show up even though he has a nice oppertunity to show half of this body to start aiming.
I just wish this part was more like Uncharted.

You can shoot hats too!!

There is even an avatar reward in Xbox maybe in PS3 too.

I have done it a few times, pretty neat how they took the smallest details from classic movies to this game.

Wyatt Earp, The good the bad and the ugly, Open Range, 3:10 to Yuma and Deadwood

Those are the movies/serie that I think of when I play RDR, and its awesome!

Help the treasure hunter fend off the attackers...or just kill everyone and take the treasure map! Profit!

Im not...I just bumped into it through google images a year ago and started investigating so I like the comic images and the concept that it is western/fantasy.

I would love to see Rockstar add a fun DLC to spice things up.
Add horde mode but with zombies, they would even come after you with their zombie horses LOL

It would be aweome and I am sure alot of people would want to get it considering that is one of then things Treyarch did right for World at War and their zombie nazis.
But here you fight zombie cowboys, you can't go wrong :)

PS. The avatar I am using has the outfit style as Duster Coat in RDR that Marston wears once you unlock it, love the outfit!

LOL Kenshin, good that you agree with me now when I said this game needs something like AC were chests glow when you are close enough, like ammo boxes and weapons.

It is too hard to find treasure scraps, especially when big purple circle on the map is too big.

Im almost in the end I think,Im doin things that Im not used to but I wont say because of spoilers,Im just say that it got interesting,I have done all stranger tasks,I have all the outfits minus the US Army one but I cant purchase the scrap at the tailor,maybe I need to continue the story further in order to be able to buy it,the other one its the one I get when Im 100% in everything.

The game got really epic at this point damn it!!

I got a few outfits now and I am still using Duster Coat, so damn badass!

Right now all my missions are in Mexico and guess who I saw :P


In the game there is this man called Landon Riscett or something, he is suppose to be the last fastest gunslinger, really awesome.

There is one thing I regret saying, it is about the horses.
I said before that RDR horse controls is better than AC but I take it back.
Tapping the run button all the time gets annoying, I do wish it was more like AC were you can hold up and then just hold the run button to sprint very fast.

And LOL at Irish touching the horses balls saying its healthy, I was surprised of that LOL
