06/02/2007 à 09:19:00 Resident Evil 5 - HD Trailer (X05) is up

Well as almost everyone knows the first Resident Evil 5 trailer that showed was in low, and the HD was NO WHERE to be found so...GT got the HD, and I gotta tell ya...I can not wait for this game to come out.

2 over the shoulder dark/intense games, RE5 and DarkSector, can't get any better than this, it just can't.

Edit: This Capcom confirm anything about it being real-time trailer or CGI or what?

With graphics like Mass Effect, Dark Sector, Lost Planet, Gears, it is nearly not impossible to make it like this.

It's CGI because they didn't have an engine at the time.

Yup, CGI. But looking at LP, DR, and DMC4, you already know it will look awesome. Especially hearing the stuff they mentioned in some Famitsu reviews, and the fact it is their baby. The game will rock harder than Disturbed :P

Ah...CGI, but it doesnt matter though, because that graphic can be made, ok maybe not that detailed, but sure as hell beautiful non the less.

I know ManThatYouFear (damn you got such a long name, haha) I hate quicktime as well, it takes too long until the video screen is gonna show up because it somewhat feels like your computer has been stopped and can't do anything, and all of a sudden after kust like 1 minute or so, it is back.

That looks real-time to me... Similar to the first MGS4 real-time trailer.

Its possible that was cg, but its also possible that could've been a real-time demo I don't see anything impossible there in real-time.

What the hell is up with that "for playstation 3" crap at the end? Oh well :)

Biut about the "PS3" in the end...wasent it announced first for PS3 in 05 and then later on for 360 as well?

I think it was the exact opposite. The game was announced at X'05, and the PS3 version was announced after.

I think 360 got announced after the PS3, because if it was vice versa shouldn't itsay 360 instead of PS3. Beside RE never came to Xbox (what I know) so why would Capcom announce their biggest franchise to a platform that never had a RE title.

Biohazard is the name of the Game in Japan so clearly this trailer was meant for Japan only where only the PS3 version is going to be available.

Is it me or for a long time ago they somewhat said the 360 version is only available for Japan, or was it the opposite for being NOT available for Japan.

To be Honest I really DOnt know . Capcom has been tight lipped about it, I guess they too want Microsoft to pay up ... Microsoft started this and now they have to continue doing it. It's like every single game developer who has a killer app potential is waiting for microsoft ot cough up beofore announcing anything ...

Dont get me wrong, I think RE5 will definately make it to the 360 but Capcom having not announced it sort of officially kinda bugs me that's all.

RE5 was first announced at X05, and it is still listed as coming to 360 on Capcoms Japanese site

my bad it wasn't at X05, they announced it in Famitsu like back in July '05, and was stated as 360 and PS3, from the get go.
