Nintendo has just pulled a new Direct out of nowhere, dedicated to Star Fox, a new Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive due for release on 25 June.
We already had the chance to tell you about MOTORSLICE thanks to a demo version released on Steam seven months ago. Since the game became available yesterday, we’ve put together a video presentation of this excellent surprise from the indie scene, which we think is well worth your attention. If you have subscribed to Game Pass, you should be aware that the game is available for no extra cost.
Already available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, we’ve previously shared videos of the excellent Indiana Jones and the Great Circle across all these platforms. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is coming soon, and today we want to share with you our preview video showing the very beginning of the game.
With Star Wars Day coming up on May 4, it’s no surprise to see news emerging about the universe created by George Lucas. Fans have been eagerly awaiting details on the release window for STAR WARS: Galactic Racer, and they’ll be thrilled to learn that the exact date is October 6 2026. A new trailer has been released to mark the occasion.
Since we received MOUSE: P.I. For Hire rather late, we weren’t able to cover it when it first came out, which is a real shame because Fumi Games’ title turns out to be a lot of fun. While we were initially a bit disappointed by the feel of the gunfights, the experience improves over time, and the character’s mobility—the right stick lets you dash, you unlock a double jump, then the ability to hover/fly using your tail, etc.—gives this title a pretty enjoyable boomer shooter vibe. Add to that the excellent visuals, the superb film noir atmosphere, the soundtrack, and the voice acting and you'll start to understand why we quickly got hooked. A very pleasant surprise that we highly recommend.
SoulQuest, a new hack-and-slash action adventure by TomasJPereyra and publisher indie.io is coming to PC on May 1st, and here’s our video showing the first 25 minutes of the game.
What a tough life, as BlimBlim would say back when he was still around, having to churn out hit titles week after week. Saros will be available on April 30 (or April 27 for early access), but we’ve already had a good look around Carcosa and we brought back some impressions. In the video you’ll find inside, you’ll get an initial (incomplete) look, but our written verdict written a few days later (with a few more hours under our belt) will give you even more detailed information and a refined take on our experience (still incomplete, as we weren’t able to reach the game’s conclusion before heading off on vacation due to lack of time). We invite everyone to check it all out without further delay, and you're interested in the full written review, check out the French side.
Update: The review is back on the homepage to celebrate the game's release, with an update at the very end of the article and an uncommented gameplay video to watch.
Developed by the studio behind Tower Fantasy, Neverness to Everness is now available for free on PS5, PC, and mobile devices, just like all the other games of this type that we’re seeing more and more often. The visuals and overall production are excellent, but it’s still too early to judge the game’s appeal at this point, or even to know if it will require grinding for those who don’t want to spend anything. Check out the video we recorded earlier today as it only shows a few clips from the beginning of the adventure on PlayStation 5 Pro.
Morbid Metal launched in Early Access on Steam on April 8, and the game from German developer SCREEN JUICE is already showing some real promise—provided you’re like roguelites that is. It’s worth noting that Ubisoft has partnered with the project, a pleasant surprise that suggests the French publisher is no longer content to rely solely on its iconic franchises. We’ll leave you with a gameplay video that’s pretty fast-paced, but also shows how poorly we can play at this stage.
