As we didn't cover the release of the first installment back in 2020, we didn't have unreasonable expectations for Spirit of the North 2, but our brief contact with the Steam demo a few months ago had made us wary concerning its technical aspect. We can't say whether the final version fares any better on PC, but on PlayStation 5 Pro, it's clearly a letdown. What's more, having remained unmoved by the game world and some of the early gameplay mechanics, we can't really say we've been particularly convinced by what we've seen. To make it worse, the rather disappointing technical state of the game on Pro didn't make us want to push our experience any further. We might be wrong of course, but it really didn't click and we think there are a lot more interesting new titles coming out this month.
Out of Sight won't come out officially before May 22 but we were given access to a preview build that we took for a spin to be able to share some video content of the game this week. If you're curious to try it for yourself, a demo is available on Steam and it's a bit shorter than what we're showing you today. We should be able to give you a proper review in a few weeks if everything goes according to plan.
Rockstar Games has just unveiled Trailer 2 for Grand Theft Auto VI, which will be available on May 26, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Here's the trailer, available both on YouTube and as a download file, as well as a large number of images.
Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have today released a new video for RoadCraft, which this time doesn't feature any gameplay sequences, but rather focuses on showing us the philosophy behind this new production. For the occasion, we're treated to a pretty nice CGI trailer.
When it was released five years ago, Journey to the Savage Planet won us over with its crazy, colorful universe and its effective, if very classic, formula. Our review didn't get much of a reaction at the time, but with the one we've prepared for Revenge of the Savage Planet, we hope you'll be able to right that monumental wrong. Even more so as the studio behind the first opus (Typhoon Studios) is no more, having been bought out by Google before being definitively closed down following Stadia's death. Fortunately, Raccoon Logic rose from the ashes of this unfortunate episode, and it was with great pleasure that we immersed ourselves in the unique universe invented by this funny team from Montreal.
MotoGP25, the brand-new opus in the famous series developed by Milestone is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. This 2025 version offers us a new engine with Unreal Engine 5, Minibikes and Flat Tracks racing, as well as a new recording method for engine noises, and we've captured a 4K video of the Xbox Series X version.
With the recent announcement that Codemasters is putting its rally games on hold, and the wave of layoffs affecting various studios at Electronic Arts, it's hard not to worry about future F1 games. For the time being, promotional videos of F1 25 keep coming as this year's new installment is still scheduled for release on May 30 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Two Falls (Nishu Takuatshina) was originally released on PC last November, but has now been ported to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This story-driven game has been warmly welcomed by players who enjoyed its atmosphere and characters. Unreliable Narrators' title puts you in the shoes of two very different characters. Jeanne is what you called a King's daughter, which is how young French women who immigrated to New France as part of a program sponsored by King Louis XIV were called back in the 17th century. Unfortunately for her, her ship sank off the Canadian coast, leaving her alone in an unknown world with the captain's dog, as they seem to be the sole survivors of the shipwreck. Maikan, on the other hand, is a hunter/gatherer from the Innu nation, too young to know what life was like for his kind before the arrival of the white man. The young man has embarked on a long journey to understand why his lands are suddenly invaded by frost, a phenomenon that threatens his people as much as the local flora and fauna. The ambience is well-polished, the French dubbing excellent, and apart from the strange choice of choosing to lock framerate at 30 fps on all consoles (including the PS5 Pro), we can't find much to reproach it for. Bear in mind, however, that the adventure is short, as it should take you around five hours to complete.
During a dedicated State of Play, 2K and Gearbox Software shared a detailed preview of Borderlands 4. The game will be available on 12 September 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will also arrive later in 2025 on Nintendo Switch 2.
