Yakuza Kiwami is now available

The full HD remaster of Ryū ga Gotoku is now available on PlayStation 4. On top of its graphical upgrade, Yakuza Kiwami brings 30 minutes of new cutscenes, new distractions and side quests. A remaster of the second game in the series was recently announced for Japan, one can hope it will also release here soon.

If Kiwami sells well, I'm sure Kiwami 2 will come to the West - And Kiwami 3 will get a HD port as well. I'm wondering if Sega will just use the English subs of the original or if they will add English voice-over, because the original Yakuza 2 on PS2 only had Japanese voices with English subtitles, unlike Yakuza 1 which had English voices as well. Just wondering if Sega will want to spend money on English voice-over for a HD port when the original didn't have it.

It would be cool but i personaly hope they just stick with subs only. These games already take forever to come to the west

although i have Yakuza 6 on PS+ service, i'd never start a huge game like that on a renting/subscription service to let it lapse and have to play with my dong, and just buy the physical/digital copy to begin with.

I think this will be the perfect place to start.

Isn't Yaka Zero the one everybody is faving about?
