I was surprised by the mediocre reviews it received, i maybe expected that for the console versions but not the PC. Apparently the combat still ain't all that, but what RPG truly does get this right? Well...scratch that..Witcher 2 so far definitely does that awesome.

I thought Dragons Dogma demo had nice combat, Amalur is good too. I cant think of any other.
The combat in the first Risen wasn't anything to write home about either, and boy did i love that game. I actually played and finished the 360 version, which was a quite bad port, but i knew how deep Piranha Bytes games were, and i knew i had to press on. When i accepted the questionable controls and combat, i started to love it. The 360 version from what i've seen definitely seems to be a much better port this time around...so i can see myself buying it in august. We'll see.
