Project CARS 2 will be released in less than two weeks so we are going to start sharing video footage of the PC version we backed ourselves. Inside you will find a first video showcasing some of the content of this sequel. Enjoy!
The variety for cars, tracks, time of day and racing conditions looked great, especially the last clip of the Nurburgring in the snow but the graphics looked underwhelming especially being the PC version. I also noticed alot of micro stuttering going on.
Thanks for the video by the way. I hope the final version can at least smooth out the framerate.

More like 40/50. What's your point? :p
Because the AI looked very slow and tame - and the races as a result seemed lame; and that does not do justice to the brilliant AI and intense racing feeling in the game.

Brilliant AI? When everyone gets stuck at the first corner just like in the first game? ^^
You're right though, sometimes they look really slow for a 40/50 level, especially on the ice track I show. I know that the AI can be really good.
The main point here was not to showcase the AI though, but the track and car diversity, possibly from up close. Each video has to be validated by the WMD community, and very few people seem to vote there, or at least not when it's someone they know (I have 39 views on the second video there and only 2 votes...). Because of the time I have to wait for each video I make, I don't really want to lose more time trying to deal with the strongest possible AI. Especially considering there is no guarantee the video will have the necessary votes. That's also why I chose to make such a video.
Also, I haven't had time to check if my old wheel is still supported, and in PCARS, I'm less comfortable with a gamepad (though it seems to have improved dramatically in that respect).

What's your initial impression? Does it handle anything like AC?
Thanks for the post!
10 or 20 out of 110?
