I think it is pretty sad that they are able to rerelease the same game time and again just changing some tracks and the subject and are successful with it.

My thoughts exactly.

Though, at this point i really think fans would go crazy if they didn't get at least two new GH games a year. In fact, that's how i think it should stay. I mean, if they are not taking their time to improve the game, at least they should give us enough content for half a year worth of fun.

even though i dont like activision blatant milking of this franchise with seemingly pointless retail addition, especially considering they could release a track list and character skin over PSN and XBL and have the same effect....i do kinda like that they release so many of these at retail, becasue this way i can just rent them and they dont get a dime...lol

What's the difference between releasing a game like this and releasing songs as DLC???

NOTHING! The only downside is if you can't import the tracks onto the hDD to play in GH4/5. But hey, I don't mind switching disks if I can play the songs I like.

Nope that will be the "Oasis Edition" of Guitar Hero, and it will have a Vampire Alcoholic mode.

if it was just a track list it would be cheaper, since all the assets etc wouldnt be needed. but then that is why activision do it, to rake in the moolah.

Fans of that particular group or artist, PERIOD.

About the game

What's up?

MrWhite Not "Here, you can have it all and become a god that can knock over a 30 tonne beast!" Had to be a balance there. There wasn't one. (7 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite having a perk slot system too. Only being able to equip a couple to suit what kind of style you want to play as. (7 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite Little things that could have elevated the game from being just 'OK' to deserving the praise it got. (7 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite another solution for repetitive combat and progression is a weapon maintenance system, sparser ammo, and making each machine have a unique invulnerability to certain attacks. (7 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite A simple solution would have been a command wheel function for overridden machines. Attack, defend, stay, suicide attack, follow etc (7 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite the maps design didn't facilitate it. Like I say, poor design everywhere. (7 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @Tiz: I just think its sloppy AI coding, and just a general lack of want of doing it that way. One other reason is the on rails system for automatic riding (7 Hours ago)
