CD Projekt RED has revealed that Blood & Wine, the second and ultimate major expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will release on May 31. Get a glimpse inside with brand new screenshots and a teaser trailer. The add-on will also get limited box edition that contains physical versions of the Northern Realms and Nilfgaard Gwent decks, pre-orders available here.

Excellent. If this expansion pack is as good as the previous one (Heart of Stone) then we're definitely in for an treat! By far The Witcher 3 is the best RPG I've ever played! It's even better than Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns! (but nothing is better than the Goddess Lightning Farron herself).

got bored of the witcher 3 at around the half way mark when everything from combat to commerce became trivial and/or pointless. which was a shame because the first half was setting the game up to be one of the best ever. as it is though, i can't say i'm eager to get back into the world. i'd honestly wish they'd have spent the time making this on getting their cyberpunk 2077 game out sooner.

The press release said that they were going to go "focus on cyberpunk" after this. Gonna be interesting to see what they do with that :)

That's rubbish. As CDPR has stated time and again, most of their team moved to Cyberpunk as soon as the TW3 was completed. A smaller team is handling the DLC and updates. They are hard at work with that game, and based on the fact that they said that they're not going to announce the release date before it's only months away and that they promised big news for 2017, that's pretty much certainly the year the game's going to come out.

Bums me out to hear people that quit on the game early on... you have no idea what you're missing later on, especially if you appreciate good writing and character development. Also the world is just fucking incredible, Skellige Isles are just breathtaking

someone didn't read the link he posted saying they haven't even started yet. lol.

announced in 2012 and still not in full development yet. haha.

i imagine all cyberpunk is right now is a CGi trailer and some pre-production work. the fact their release schedule is "sometime in the next 4 years" kinda says it all.

I love this game and I agree it will get one of the best DLCs. This game may not be for the Uncharted type gamers. This game has gameplay that surpasses that type of game which is much more simplistic. I have no issues with those that prefer linear set story driven experiences with no multiple endings.

IMO this game defined next-gen with great non-linear stories, great gameplay, great graphics, multiple endings, and potentially great DLC with better graphics. So excited for this DLC.

either way it smells like BS to me. sounds like damage control. people bitched about them not even starting yet and they "revised" their statement.

i don't see it hitting the PS4 or 4.5. maybe we'll see it in 2020? in which case the 2012 announcement was most definitely WAY too early.
