Looks decent. Starbreeze titles are _extremely_ hard to judge without playing them (thought Enclave looked awesome, thought Butcher Bay looked awful...) so I'm reserving judgment. However, I'm getting both the Riddick "that looks a little cheesy" and Human Revolution "why can't you call it something else!' feelings which means I may end up deeming this one a classic when I get my hands on it. We'll see :)

C'mon, this looks very different from Human Revolution. This is a shooter, not an RPG. The "powers" are more comparable to Psi Ops than anything Deus Ex. Different art styles. Just because it's cyberpunk...
I believe eeZee is referencing the fact that Human Revolution looks so radically different from the original Dues Ex just as this looks so much different than the original Syndicate.

Yup, i'd say that was hit point too.
I think this is looking pretty ass tho. Visually its just so naff looking, and the combat looks too clunky just like shooting was in darkness and riddick. Alt fire modes are interesting albiet seen it all before elsewhere. The style of the world seems cool, and i'm sure it'll have a decent story, but the gameplay so far is looking forgettably average. Think i need a demo for this one.

While final proof is always in gameplay this looks anything but clunky, Deus Ex was genuinely stiff and clunky, this looks fast, fluid and dynamic, everything that Deus Ex should have been in terms of shooting mechanics. FPS titles are the toughest to judge without feeling the controls though but "naff looking", come off it, you've lost all credibility, it looks fucking superb.
