After years of absence, SSX is finally back on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and we obviously were not going to miss it. Here are a bunch of gameplay videos revealing the beginning of the game. As you will see, the biggest disappointment comes with the visuals, but the crazy tricks of the series have not been forgotten, which is a relief. The game may not satisfy all the fans of yore, but it is definitely fun if you are not all for realistic sports titles.

This looks very cool, i just hope that it is as good as SSX3 , i dont expect it to be a SSX tricky tbh. Sad thing they did not include a replay system.

True words :( will rent it and see how good, or bad it really is compared to SSX3 ( will never compare it to SSX tricky as this was the pinnacle of the series.)

Doesn't look nearly as good as the old games. The graphical feel and design is much more laid back and "realistic", not as arcadish, explosive and colourful like in the old games. It's also quite weak technically for being a new SSX - i mean, shouldnt the snow look much better and act more realistic in a game based on snow?
A shame to see, really...

But then again: it's the direction the whole industry pointing towards to, so why am I surprised.

Played on SSX triky on my ps2 again the other night (not my xbox version, pads were to shit for it) and its so much better than this, the tracks are less hectic the pace is better the colours are better and overall atmosphere is just better

I enjoyed the demo yes, but after playing the original again, this is shit in comparison.

    Melmoth problem with such platforms is they will only work with software where they can extract motion data, and having no standards there, they have build support for each individual game. (2 Hours ago)
