I have never played Super Stardust but it looks fun.
BTW, the recent pack (forget the name) has really boosted the game's value IMO. Added a few quick modes that easily rival Geometry Wars in terms of fast action. The main singleplayer mode is a bit too predictable and slow to get challenging (I only die due to dumb mistakes usually until at least Hard difficulty, so it takes over 30 minutes just to really get going).
So basically the new modes they added in the DLC are better than the full game IMO.
