Shinji Mikami's studio Tango Gameworks has unveiled the codename of their project: Zwei. Resident Evil creator goes back to the survival horror genre with this game in development. Along with the codename, a piece of art showing environments has been released but it's not intended to give any hints at what is in the game. Bethesda Softworks will publish the game but no date, no platforms announced yet.
Bethesda Softworks is pleased to announce that Tango Gameworks and director Shinji Mikami are working on a ‘survival horror’ game under the codename ‘Zwei’.
As a master of the ‘survival horror’ genre, Shinji Mikami is committed to making a game that is the realization of *pure* survival horror, an experience which he defines as one that pushes the limits of fear and exhilaration. He and his team at Tango are committed to attaining this vision.
“A true ‘survival horror’ game is one in which the player confronts and overcomes fear,” says Shinji Mikami, president and creative director for Tango Gameworks. “I've found my focus and once again I'm striving for pure survival horror. I am being very hands-on in the development of this game to ensure that the quality is there. Rest assured.”

@GriftGFX: I don't believe at all that Windows Store in it's current state can be a succes. (1 Hour ago)
but they're not going to back away from it. That's why the subtle acceptance of UWP is a very real problem. It's mostly the consumer's dumb fault I guess. (2 Hours ago)
Why? He keeps saying they're addressing consumer complaints while avoiding the real issues with the sandbox. Fixing v-sync isn't going to cut it. The whole agenda is fundamentally flawed (2 Hours ago)
Spencer should be honest about that by saying it will improve soon. That would be good PR. If Remedy says that they can't optimise for UWP, that should be his concern. (2 Hours ago)
I saw those comments live and I think they're just talk. Talk is cheap. (2 Hours ago)
@jmd749: He's not saying that any major titles will come to steam. Probably only low budget games. But denying that UWP and the store are disasters, is stupid PR. (2 Hours ago)
