Page 1 2 3 >>kinect would be brilliant if playing GR and all you did was rais your had and your men stopped circle your finger and there on you again.. blah blah blah
I still cant quite understand how they could have done such a thing
No wonder why Gears Kinect was cancelled. As droezelke said - it's not for gaming. They should use it only for navigation of dashboard and some games menus - nothing more than that.
On the bright side, tomorrow, you will get some Witcher 2 videos, 360 version. :)
I have played a section where I was in a pod following some troopers, somewhere in a forrest. It was horrible: the input lag was about half of a second, you could not fire yourself or aim for that matter (all automated), the graphics were poor (hell, I was flying through trees at some points, and I mean through the actual trees). It just didn't work. Kinect is not made for gaming, or better, it is not yet capable of doing that. The next Xbox is rumoured to have Kinect 2.0 built into the console.
Hahahaha, pure funny.
"This is what us hardcore gamers who actually own a device that is the future of videogames have to put up with."
Hahahaha, pure funny.
Explain why it isn't the future of videogames then? Or are you laughing because it's so obvious that it's hilarious how some people are too stupid to see it?
Thats funny.
And the future of videogames, thats funny too in a bad way.
God damnit!!

That Han Solo dance is just too damn hardcore for me.

We been through this so many times I dont like to repeat myself, even when its so obvious.

The only waste I would do is to laugh at that comment because it was worth it lol
Can you tell us why it's the future of gaming, ya know, without sounding ridiculous?
Well I'll give Sath a few minutes at least to answer, he deserves a chance afterall.
No, that was a challenge for you. What makes you think that kinect is "hardcore?"

Why waste my time to explain something when majority here is having the same opinion. They do the talking and I just nod in agreement.

OK, you've answered and basically given up without wanting to admit it so here's my brief answer. Kinect allows unprecedented freedom in game design thanks to being able to have full body control (although they don't have to use the full body and yes Kinect games can be made that work sitting down, like the podracing in Kinect Star Wars for example) in 3D space. Before anyone says "BUTTT IT GOT NOOOOO BUTTONZZZZ!!!!!!" let me tell you a little secret, when you buy a Kinect Microsoft don't come to your house and take all your joypads away. No, seriously it's true! So developers can make games that combine Kinect AND joypads, like Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor for example. Games can be made that just weren't possible before, like Michael Jackson: The Experience for example or indeed any dancing game with full body tracking, but I'm not into dancing games except the MJ one. What also makes Kinect the future of videogames is that the next Xbox will almost definitely come bundled with a version of Kinect (hopefully Kinect 2) so expect all of the next-gen Xbox games to feature Kinect support in some kind of way, whether it's full Kinect support or at the very least things like the voice support in Mass Effect 3. See, that was pretty easy, I didn't exactly have to rack my brain to type that.
Microsoft, hire this man!
